Katarina Falkenberg is CEO of the Alchemical Academy and has studied and practiced alchemy for 35 years. She is an alchemical therapist and author with a background in theatre. Off the charts knowledge of the mysteries. The authors are the real deal and this is their magnus opus.

To say that I am grateful for all that went into creating this book would be an understatement. This book is a work of art, where each page has been carefully written and masterfully translated in a way that brings much value to the reader and Alchemist.So much wisdom is found within these pages, with beautiful art which speaks to the core of one's being.I'm in awe!Thank you, for all that made this happen.

Just like "The Secret Teachings of all Ages" is a standard in western esotericism, this book is its equivalent in terms of Alchemy. Alchemy - The Divine Work has brought Alchemy to the 21st century and it is a must-have for all students of the arts, for the core of every spiritual tradition is the transmutation/transfiguration of the soul which this book elucidates in detail.

This is a comprehensive study on alchemy and transformation, is the most accessible and complete journey that I have found. The manner in which they present the material contains wisdom and knowledge valuable to the seeker and student. In addition, if you contact the authors there may be additional opportunities to learn directly from them.

I translated this book solely based upon my great respect for the brilliant authors and my own personal dedication to the Royal Art, which this book so thoroughly elucidates.This is the most comprehensive and authoritative modern work on the art of alchemy. Divided into three sections (history, philosophy, and practice), this book plumbs the depths of this often confusing and often misunderstood subject.I cannot recommend this book enough, not only to aspiring alchemists, but especially to students of the Western Esoteric Tradition in general. While the principal topic is of course alchemy, the authors delve into all of the most relevant and intricately related occult topics: Kabbalah, Mythology, Mysticism, Magic, Rosicrucianism, the Grail Tradition, Gnosticism, Esoteric Christianity, and Hermeticism.I have read many books purporting to explain alchemy and none come close to this one. The authors' own interpretations are based on decades of experimentation and passionate study. If you are reading this review and serious about alchemy, this book was written for you.

Falkenberg and Westlund have done an incredible service to the esoteric community through this opus. It is a definitive tome of theoretical study and practical application. They have hit the balance between the past and present – and this book will be the new and constant reference for those future students of the divine art.

This is the greatest book ever written on the subject of alchemy, in my personal opinion. Having read countless volumes, both modern and ancient, this book lays out the entirety of the Magnum Opus and the Royal Art in a way that has never been accomplished before. It is both theoretical and practical and provides a cogent explanation of very abstruse concepts which, until now, have been obscure and opaque. If you are a practitioner of the Western Esoteric Tradition, this book is an absolute must have. Honestly, it might be the only book you'll ever need.

This book should be in the library of all students of the alchemy, kabbalah, gnosticism and Western spirituality.I have been studying and practiced the hermetic tradition since 1997 and read hundreds of books on the subject over the years. I have now studied this book (first its Swedish edition, then the English) for 5 years, and read it several times. This book is by far the best, deepest and most practical guide to inner alchemy i've ever read. The book draws on a variety of different sources from the Western traditions, and presents a coherent process from the first step on the spiritual path to the realization of the philosophers stone that transmutes your inner lead to gold.This is one of the few books available describing the advanced work from adepthood through masterhood, and does so with greater detail than any other book I've read (including the works of Crowley which i've studied for more than two decades).That being said, this is not an easy read. To understand this book I had to work with it for some time, and combining it with other practices that I have learned through the years.
The definitive inner alchemy text!!
I have waited for a text like this for years and I'm not disappointed. It perfectly describes the process and allows you to make great progress through it. The Book is packed with resources that ease you through the process so it completely stands alone. It's a large tome but well worth the effort reading all of it and then going back to meditate on and digest it's salient points. This will keep me occupied for many years to come! My only regret is that this wasn't available 20 years ago.
