I teach English to students from other countries. I like to keep English and other languages versions of novels. My students fell in love with this series and I ordered them all. This is for older students middle and high schoolers.

Este libro lo lei en tandem con Powerless como muchas personas recomendaron y aunque la historia principal te atrapa muchisimo mas, me alegro de haberlos leido en tandem porque si no, no creo que hubiera leido este y la historia de Adena es linda y merece ser leida. Sim embargo no conecte con el personaje masculino, no me gusto y por lo tanto se me hizo algo tediosa esta lectura y me costaba mucho cada vez que tenia que dejar Powerless y venir a esta. Pero estuvo bien y creo que fue necesaria porque imagino que el protagonista masculino estara en el ultimo libro que aun no he leido y es bueno conocer un poco de su historia.

Este libro deberíamos ser ILEGAL, no puedes romperme el corazón de esa manera (bueno si), estuve todo el rato queriendo que ese final fuera uno diferente, pero cuando llegó fui un mar de lágrimas, después de la conexión con los protagonistas de este libro, me rompió ese final muchísimo mas que en powerless.Aparte de eso, el libro llego en buen estado, todo bien.

Pero lo suyo no es rendirse. Tiene... plot twists.Lo que menos:Hay momentos donde se puede anticipar lo que va a pasar, pero la autora lo compensa con estilo.Al principio cuesta un poco ubicarse en el sistema del mundo, pero una vez entras, ya no quieres salir.En resumen:Si te gustan las historias con heroínas que se hacen pasar por lo que no son, príncipes con secretos, mundos divididos por clases y poderes, y un romance que se siente entre cada línea… Powerful es tu próxima obsesión

Lovely yet heartbreaking
Possible spoiler of Powerless‼️I knew what was coming after Powerless, but I still cried my eyes out when reading Powerful and having to relieve Adena's death but this time in Mak's eyes and herself.It is a very powerful story, the title makes it justice, there’s no way to describe how the love and pain in the story made me feel.Great book, heart breaking, worth reading!
