Surprisingly, while the weight loss was nice, the biggest impact was the benefit to my overall health.
The low carb, keto lifestyle has completely changed my mental and physical well-being. I feel more motivated and energetic than I ever have in my life. My mood is stable. My anxiety and depression are gone. Two kids later, I’m at a healthy weight with low blood pressure and cholesterol, despite a strong family history of the contrary.
Unfortunately, many people are intimidated by keto. They don’t have a lot of time to cook, they have a whole family to feed, or they worry that they’ll miss their favorite meals.
I created my site, WholesomeYum.com, to show people that low carb and keto eating doesn’t have to be difficult, complicated, or boring. It all started as a way to record my recipe experiments. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that it would help millions of people.
Every day, readers tell me how the keto lifestyle has changed their lives. My only wish is to help more people see how easy and beneficial it can be.
This book is an extension of that undertaking. It’s packed with delicious and easy keto recipes, including everything you need to make them foolproof—from step-by-step instructions that even the most novice cooks can follow to great tips and variations that will help you nail each recipe and even make it your own.
Like the Wholesome Yum website, each recipe in The Wholesome Yum Easy Keto Cookbook requires 10 ingredients or less. By convention, salt and pepper are not included, and we only count each ingredient once, even if it’s used twice in making a dish. And of course, each recipe includes essential macros information.
