The story is real; a feeling of and showing how some of us past sixty still have lots of years and love to give but how hard it is to find someone especially these days. The unrealistic expectations and those that are happy with who they are. Funny and witty and enjoyed it so much!!!

I enjoyed the basic story, but after repeated episodes it began to feel as if alcohol consumption was an unacknowledged extra character in the plot, and a boring one, at that.I also ended up feeling short-changed that there wasn't more about what made the relationship with Simon special. The telling just seemed too abbreviated by contrast to all Tess's previous encounters.

I'm not sure who thinks this book is funny. Boringly realistic may be a better description for book about an early 60's woman looking for companionship. Was not impressed with the date rape, glossing over of it or all the dieting discussion.

enjoyed listening to this, some repeat sentences were the reader said same sentence again before carrying on. believable to some extent in this online world, but fun and funny,light hearted but made you think a little too. would look for author again.
