I bought it after my son's teacher asked me to make it for a school event. This will be a gift for students who did well on a reading project. I think it's a great way to encourage creativity. The pages are large and of high quality.

My daughter would draw comics on sticky notes. This is a great book to keep all those doodles in one place and spark the beginning of a creative story.

Husband and granddaughter love this, they drew in it for a few hours, and love the idea of drawing their own comic. My husband is an artist, he was taken for surprise when he opened it, and wished they were available when he was younger. Granddaughter has already made a comic story with it.. have to buy more.

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson who will draw for hours. He draws Singing Monsters, and Transformers. He loves it and I'm sure his mother doesn't mind that he'll draw for a half hour or more at a time. Although he loves it, he doesn't write small enough to put many words in a box with the drawing, I'm planning to have him write the words he wants on paper and then I'l print them off the computer so I can make them smaller. I think a slightly older child would not have that problem, and you don't have to put words in your comic book but they add a lot. If telling a story doesn't come easily to your child, I bought a book called "The story no one has ever HEARD before". This book gives you step by step directions on how to write a story. You start with your main character, you give him a problem and follow the rest of the directions. It made it very easy to create a story that was interesting,

It’s a fantastic way to spark his imagination and creativity, offering a hands-on approach to storytelling. I appreciate how it keeps him engaged in a productive activity, reducing screen time while encouraging him to think outside the box.

Encouraging graphic art

Our 10 year old boy really enjoyed creating comic strips and "graphic novels" in this format. It made his efforts seem more authentic and therefore encouraging.
