5.0 out of 5 stars Very useful book!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } So much love, LOVE and MORE love for this book. I'm a low-time private pilot and have so appreciated the help of this book as it explains maneuvers in an easy-to-understand visual format. It has become my go-to when I need a refresher on a certain basic exercise. The fold out pages are a great design and the illustrations are simple and straight-forward. I think you'll love this book too!
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect to study
Nice study companion. Good for showing and explaining techniques.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for studying!
Love this little maneuver book! Light weight, easy to understand. It directs you to look up all the speeds on your specific plane which is a good study guide!
5.0 out of 5 stars Standard kit
If you’re a CFI ether have this book, or you should, a picture is worth a 1000 words and this helps tons showing a student how things should look.
5.0 out of 5 stars Instructiv
This book is suitable for teaching
5.0 out of 5 stars Worth buying !
Better than I thought it would be. The book has a lot more very well laid out information in it than just illustrations of maneuvers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Descriptions!
Nice explanations and diagrams of flying manuvers!
3.0 out of 5 stars Useful book with several serious errors
Overall, this book is useful but be very careful as some of the details in the book are flat out wrong and/or inconsistent with the current FAA ACS documents. One specific example: for the cross-controlled stall demonstration, the book says to pick an altitude to complete the maneuver no lower than 1,500 feet AGL. The ACS says no lower than 3,000 feet AGL. You will fail a check ride if you follow the book and, more importantly, you will put yourself in an unsafe situation! Similarly, the book says 1,500 feet AGL for spins when the ACS is 4,000 feet. Another example: the procedure for an emergency descent fails to mention that you need to bank 30-45 degrees for the maneuver as described in the Airplane Flying Handbook. Overall, the book is useful but be sure to review if carefully against the AFH and ACS!
Great book

Highly recommended for pilot or instructor.
