I enjoyed Gabe and Sage's love story. I thought Gabe's date in the beginning was a hilarious way to start off his story. Sage on the other hand had to have THE worst day of her life. I thought the way Mrs. Jackson eased into their relationship was nice and romantic. I like how open they were with each other so as not to have any misunderstandings about their feelings.Trust was a big issue in this book as is with a lot of relationships so it was very relatable. I was hoping that Parnell and Rose had a story of their own because I liked both of their characters as well. This was, as usual another enjoyable read from Mrs. Jackson, well worth the time and money.

One of the best books I have read all year. I even hope that Erol eventually finds love. The characters were honest, and I didn't have to trudge through silly games to get to the best of the book.

Loved Sage and Gabe's story hoping her cousins Ginger and Ci namon gets one as well. Trust can only B outshone by the triumph of ❤️ LOVE!!!

I loved Sage and Gabe together ; they really were the perfect fit! It took bothOf them awhile to admit to each other how the felt! An excellent read!

This was not just an emotional book to read but a spiritually filled page turner...... I loved the way the author tied in the scripture to the issues that Sage's parents went through. So many people give up on marriage and love without being lead by the word of GOD... I cried , I laughed and was speechless at certain points throughout the book..... I am a HUGE Brenda Jackson fan. I have read just about All of her books! I started getting her books from the library and then starting purchasing the so that I can reread them often. This series along with the Westmoreland's, and the Grangers are my absolute FAVORITE!

Gabe Blackwell and Sage Dunbar made me laugh and cry both had some been hurt by people they loved. And didn't think Sage would ever forgive her father. Mama Joella stole my heart in this one.I recommend this book.
Perfect Fit indeed
A slow burn, a depiction of a real relationship with love, identifying and overcoming insecurities and personal struggles. Loved the journey Sage and Gabe went on to get to their happy ever after.

Really enjoyed this book, loving the romance and love story. Always glad of a happy ending. Even through the hurt and pain. Love the strength of family and commitment, fortitude and trust of Gabe and Chris. Love the elder generations relationship even through their struggles. Just loved the book.
Enjoyable
Another enjoyable book by Brenda Jackson. She has a way of getting you involved with the characters and I read this book in 2 days as I could not put it down. Definitely recommend it to others.
Mature and romantic ..
Sage is on her way to being one of my Fav heroines , she had a standard and in spite of everything and everyone she held that standard ....Beacuse of that she met hear soulmate....l feel like it should be sold alongside ....Steve Harvey Think like a Man , as a perfect example of a woman who refused to settle.....It is written with great depth , nothing felt false and unrealistic , the trust issues , the heartbreak are all handled realistically and none is portrayed too baldly ......I loved Gabe and particularly enjoyed each time he feel deeper and deeper in love ....l must confess l found the storyline with her father a little too placed and yet l love that the autor didn't dwell on it too much ,,, l love her mom and everyone in the novel.....The sex ...HOT...Ending ...HEA..Perfection....Romance ....slow burner,,,Scorching ending ...FAB.
