Kimmy Brooke watched heartbroken as her 11-year-old daughter, Hailey, boarded a plane to spend the summer with her aunt in Colorado. They had never been apart before. As a single parent, she knew she was making the right choice, but that didn't make it any easier. She wanted her daughter to have a fun summer, and Kimmy knew she had to put in long hours at work. Rent was expensive in Hawaii, and she was struggling to make ends meet. As her daughter s plane pulled away from the gate, Kimmy made a decision to do things differently. If she didn't, she would remain stuck. That's the day she turned life from lemons to lemonade and started to build her Four Year Career.
