5.0 out of 5 stars inspiring

As some one who has lived with mental illness since the age of 15. I truly felt this series. My story is a lengthy one which I chose to put in poetry form. I have the blue print written for my story. I will continue to bring it to print. Thank you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love This Authors Book

S.L. · May 4, 2020

Great book I am so glad I chose to read this book. The author helps the caregiver of someone suffer with health issues. I agree the titles need to be changed. I am a caregiver and love the person so much that I am able to share hIs journey. In this reading it has help me know that I made the right decision to stay by his side in good and bad. The author is so right when she states that life experiences cause most of the brain imbalance.

3.0 out of 5 stars It was a good story; however

P.O. · October 4, 2016

It was a good story; however, it depressed me so. I hurt for her and wanted to fix things for her. I kept saying, just take your medicine. I didn't like her friends. Some of her choices, smh. But I understand why. I just wanted to protect her. This whole story just brought my mood down. This is not the type of book I enjoy reading. I also kept thinking, Lord bless this young lady and bless the author. It was a good story; just not for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really enjoyed this book

Really enjoyed this book, although my only suggestion is to hire a better proof reader, the spelling and punctuation mistakes were frequent.

4.0 out of 5 stars I have just finished reading and enjoyed your book “Don't call me crazy

A.C. · February 15, 2016

I have just finished reading and enjoyed your book “Don't call me crazy! Again”.After realizing the change of status of Anika, Mosi and David from the end of the first book, “Don't call me crazy! I'm just in love”, I settled into the story line, which so purposely and intensely creates a very real and personally touching example of the mindset of the main character Anika. Because of how we understand a written story, and how our minds are so affected by what we read, this book gives the much needed insight and honesty needed for readers to gain the empathetic understanding of mental illness that is otherwise very difficult to grasp in other communication methods. I met you 3 years ago at the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival and purchased your first book on the spot. I have been inspired and have admired your fortitude and God-given determination to continue on with your quest to share your experience and help others. The TV shows, articles, interviews and social media you have been involved in and highlighted on is an incredible blessing and has yet to be fully appreciated in the scope of it's impact on our time and society. The critical message in your book of how our moral conduct is learned, taught, and practiced in our society and different cultures within it, provides excellent examples of how the misunderstanding of God's purpose for us can actually promote mental instability and the correct understanding of God's life and love-giving Principles strengthen and provide health and inspiration not only mentally, but spiritually and physically. The way you were able to intertwine this into the storyline is a blessing. The last page had me so excited, thrilled and joyful! Especially in the anticipation of the next part of Anika's odyssey.

I found it a great read ...really njoyed it

2.0 out of 5 stars Confusing Ride Through Love and Delusion

A.B. · June 7, 2025

While the premise had potential, the execution felt scattered. Anika’s emotional journey often came across as erratic rather than engaging, making it hard to root for her. The romantic twists lacked depth, and the spiritual elements felt rushed. Not quite the inspiring tale I hoped for.
