I am finding this book and the logic behind it very informative....I buy organic and very aware of what I eat...but sometimes when I eat these so called healthy foods, they don't agree with me....as I read this book I understand why...I was watching a program with Rachel Hunter..she travels the world finding out health and beauty secrets...she was talking with a French woman...I was listening, but also checking out this woman's bookcase...and this book was there....I am so glad I saw it and decided to buy it....for me...it makes all the sense in the world......this book is really an eye opener for me...

I absolutely love this book. I have always been interested in Ayurveda and a big believer in it. When I bought this I wasn't sure if I would have the time to read it and I am still not sure that I follow most of the guidelines in the book. But I have at least taken a step towards it. I have scanned through the book and read parts that I am interested in, in great detail and I have to say that even if you are not a doctor or a person who knows nothing about Ayurveda , this is such a great book. I hope I get more time to indulge in this book and make it a point to follow some of the great advice's in my every day life.Wonderful book and a thank you to the author for taking the time to put down all this in one book. It must have taken tremendous research and practice to gain all this knowledge and so wonderful that it is all there in one book

I just received this book in the last couple of day but I am really looking forward to reading all about the beauty secrets. I know I'm going to just love this book.

This book is one I use often. For years I have formulated my facial oils and body cleansers from the recipes in this book. With all the toxic chemicals in our cleansers today, it is great to have simple, clean, healthy alternatives.

I liked the overview on Ayurveda and natural beauty, but what I found lacking was the specific remedies for certain conditions. You will need to do further research to find these.

I have read many books on this subject but I never found this kind of depth and information in any book so far. The concept that a healthy body will show natural beauty is virtually absent as so many other books have loads of face packs, bath bombs and only external application included. A must read for every women.

I am taking an on-line Ayurveda course and this was one of five required texts. Not quite sure what I, as one of what I am sure will be few guys in the class, will do with this one. But the course has already taught me some things about sunscreen, so there may be other value here that I just have not discovered yet.
Good read.
This is a well written book and is a very easy read on a complex subject. Arrived on time and well packaged. Would this company again and recommend.

A good referenece for Ayurvedic technicians.
Comprehensive and full of useful charts.
Apart from mentioning the use "Graham flour" when she means gram flour (two very different things and also comes without warning - gram flour will block the pipes if you regularly wash with it) and mentioning a study of plants dying because of "exposure to rap music", this book is very good indeed and written with warmth and wisdom.
