The media could not be loaded. This reminds me a lot of Wreck This Journal, but it is beautiful and the prompts are more instructive regarding the purpose of the exercises. It is both playful and serious. I’m looking forward to every page. I bought this copy used and the seller was very fast and the book is in near perfect condition.

After getting a grad certificate in creativity and innovation, I regularly try different resources to hone my skills. This workbook contains different exercises from the typical "journals" that I have tried. This is more geared toward visual creativity and how to see the world around you. I will be purchasing the companion book directly!

The subtitle says it all: experiment, explore, create! I might also add the word express. If you’re looking for a way to let your innate creativity bubble forth, this is IT! And if you don’t think you’re creative? This is still the book for you, because it will loosen you up, help you let go of your left brained rational thinking, and move you towards fearless creating In a fun and non-threatening way.I have already bought 5 to give as gifts to my friends this holiday season!Thanks to NetGalley, the author, and publisher, for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Rather than bore the beginner with preschool level projects, this book encourages a mindset that prompts one to see the physical world differently and then, as if through a kaleidoscope, with myriad facets and indeed, whole new archetypes.

I don't usually go for "prompts" but I decided to use this as an Art Journal and see what happens. Already after just 2 days I am surprised and pleased by the directions. Sometimes it has made me feel a little "scared" and that is a good thing. Just get out and explore and have fun in a different way. An inexpensive way to take a class.

Bought this along with the Conscious Creativity book. I was hoping this workbook would follow the book chapters and be a sort of workbook for the book but it is not. Somewhat disappointed but I’ll still try to use it.

When I saw that this now had a workbook in addition to the book, I bought them both hard copy. I very much liked the authors' approach, and it certainly helped me get through some "I just can't get started times". Very well written. Direct and no frills - just examines your own creativity, or lack thereof! I went back to my original answers since I retired, and the difference is interesting! Well spent $ on my part to get the hard copies.

This workbook is unlike any other! And I love it. The first surprise was the instruction to remove the cardstock cover and cut out something printed on the reverse. I knew right off I was in uncharted territory. This is a book to savor, come back to, use on a rainy day, a sunny day, any day. The prompts are brilliant. Did I say, I love it?!

Inspirational Book
This book has set me on a new direction with my art. I have dipped into it here and there but am working more from the beginning now and love it. New ideas, visually good and is a workbook in its own right so no need to buy a separate journal. I am sure it will continue to inspire me and will last a long time. Recommend!

I now follow the author on Insta. She lives and breathes colour and creativity and is a huge inspiration, as well as being highly intelligent, insightful and a gifted writer.
A book for the senses!
This arrived on Friday and I’m pretty sure I’ve been unable to stop turning the pages. The book encourages you to be creative without demanding you to be perfect and for that reason I love it! It’s honestly amazing. I colourful and inviting as well as feeling like a blank canvas to put your own stamp on.
Perfect to spark creative flow.
So much thought has clearly gone into this book. Like no other out there in my opinion. Wonderful!
