The ingredients are simple, the recipes are easy to follow and understand. The forward was written so beautifully. Those two pages alone are worth the price of the book- full of wisdom, they capture the feeling of living in a busy, fast paced world- as well as how to find ourselves again. I was nervous about purchasing this book because most cookbooks are full of recipes with ingredients I've never even heard of and the recipes are always complicated- I opened this book and was so pleasantly surprised at how doable this will be, she breaks everything down and gives so many options for each recipe depending on the season and personal tastes- even the feel of the cover of this book is perfect- it's a wonderfully thick, soft paperback. This book is going to be well used over the years and I plan to purchase a copy for all the women in my family and I've already texted the link to all of my friends. I read nearly the entire thing in one sitting- even the recipes- I actually read it all, planning out menus and taking notes..... if you clicked on the book to open this page- just go ahead and purchase it- you will love it!

I refer to this book all the time. It is well thought out and well laid out. Gives an overview of Ayurvedic principles and then lots of recipes to promote better health and well being. I combine these recipes with the list of foods my doctor says to include in my diet (making adjustments for foods avoid) and now I feel healthier than I have in a long time. Having recipes made all the difference. This book was a real game changer for me.

This would make a nice gift. I bought this for I wanted more recipes for my dosha. Nice book, shares info on different ailments women may go through in life and how to address them. Beautifully done!

Love this book and the descriptions of why we use different ingredients that cater to the female body. The index section is great for quick lookup when you have existing ingredients youd like to incorporate.

Easy to follow, tasty recipes
Given this book addressed a complex system of health, including diet, there is a logical approach which is easy to follow. Most importantly, there are some delicious recipes! I'm working my way through the book, but so far they've all been great.
