It does miss key points and historical accounts. That being said I would recommend it. It is a good conversation starter. The handbooks that go along with it make it even better.

I read the Bible daily.. when I finished this last time through, I decided to read The Story before I begin again. It was great! Loved it.Now I start back in The Daily Bible reading. Who knows I might read The Story again after I get through this next year of Scripture reading.Enjoy!

Excellent book! I have a better understanding of some of the stories of the Bible and I’m now able to dive into the real Bible itself without feeling overwhelmed. Excellent tool to get started. I learned so much!

I love the way books looks. It looks like a regular story book. You can freely take it anywhere and not feel uncomfortable taking it out to enjoy reading it in public or make others feel uncomfortable. Not that you should try to hide. It's just living in this world as loving neighbors. ❤️I LOVE the overview of the whole Bible. Since it is almost all words are actual NIV translation of scriptures, this is my my 3rd time reading it through as my daily quiet in Word. Last time I read through entire Bible, it took a whole year and lots of discipline...I am having so much sweet times with the LORD daily now. Recommend this for everyone, youth, children, adult, seniors. I love the large print.

It's the Bible, simplified and abridged. It's a third of the size of the actual Bible so you save lots of time but also all of the literary value of the Bible is lost if I am being honest. For secular readers, like me, the literary value of Bible is all there is to it and the NIV is just not a very elegant translation and a simplified version of that it even less engaging. If you want a literary Bible then I'd recommend getting a complete version of the KJV or NKJV translation, or possibly RSV-CE or the newer NRSV and even the venerable Douay-Rheims Bible would be a great choice. This is nonetheless is a very good book for those who want to get familiar with the Bible and its main content.

I have read many versions of the Bible. This is the most enjoyable format as it omits the unnecessary names and dates which are of no consequence to today’s Christian. Go Ahead, read The Story and be blessed.

It’s every page so it’s not a delivery problem. Very disappointed in the quality.

Christianなりたての方にはBibleそのものから入るより取り組み易いと思います。ハード本も持っていますが、Kindle Paperwhite購入に合わせこのkinndle版を買いました。単語も直ぐ引けたので、2ヶ月で読み終わりました。
