The media could not be loaded. Such a beautiful bible! The cover is soft and simple in design. The brown color is so pretty. The bible will stay flat when opened. I wanted a bigger font bible that wasn’t massively thick and this was the perfect size in font and thickness. Not very heavy either. One thing it is missing are indexes, but this isn’t a dealbreaker for me. The pages are not too thin.

I'm an older in life, born-again Christian. I picked up the Bible after deep depression following family tragedy and couldn't deny it's truth. The Bible was never was part of our family life. I was raised and educated in a strictly secular manner, but as soon as I started reading the New Testament, I had a shattering "Road to Damascus" moment. As a new believer I have a King James, an English Standard Version, and now the New International Version. This is my new favorite. To someone in my position it reads so clear accessible. My eyes are getting older and and the large print helps, not to mention the outstanding value, which, let's face it, matters in today's world. I really, really like it.

Very easy to read and understand as a beginner. Like that it includes both New and Old Testament. Thin pages but as to be expected for bibles, doesn’t bother me. Love the bigger text, easy on the eyes. Good quality cover.

I picked up the original King James Bible about three weeks ago and was very confused with the wording, and the print was very small. So small that I definitely couldn’t really see it. The print size for this bible is large, not sure why some said it wasn’t in the reviews. The leather feels great! A blessing I received this Bible.

It's absolutely beautiful
My bible arrived right on time, just as they'd predicted.It looks and feels absolutely beautiful.My only complaint is that this is not 'large print' by any standards.Zondervan executives should be ashamed to refer to it as 'large size' print.It's really the standard size print of the early 1990's style bibles (like the Good News bibles, which were given away for free, at the time in South Africa.)When typing out anything, most wordprocessors use font sizes of 10 or 11 as standard, and then increase it to 12 or even 14 (or more) for easier reading.Anyway, it's beautiful, but be aware it's nowhere near anything but standard font size (I believe it's around font size 11.)

Large print
I’ve found this Bible especially useful for leading Bible studies. It’s large print is very nice
pages are thin
newspaper thin pages, first few pages are slightly folded at the edge, the last few pages were slightly creased and stuck together.you can see the words behind the page.the imitation leather is nice
