I chose the Doctor Jupiter Science Kit for my eldest grandson, who just turned eight, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The build quality of the components really stood out, everything from the test tube to the volcano mould feels sturdy and well made. The instruction booklet is colourful, clearly illustrated, and made it easy for him and me to follow along with minimal help.He’s already tried a few of the experiments, especially the volcano and slime ones and they worked brilliantly every time. I was impressed by how educational yet fun it all was, introducing real science concepts in a way that actually holds his attention.For the price, this kit is excellent value for money. You get a lot of variety with over 50 experiments, and the bonus online activities are a nice touch. It’s a perfect mix of learning and excitement, and most importantly, it feels built to last through plenty of use. I highly recommend it for any budding young scientist!

An an ideal present for any 8-10 year old. I got this for twin boys aged 9 and they loved it. It requires grown up supervision which I was more than happy that grown up (any excuse to be a kid again!).There's 50 different experiments within the box. From exploding volcanos to making gunk/slime and there's plenty to keep them busy for a few hours (spread out over time as kids attention span seems to be limited to one experiment before they're off to do something different).Saying that though, this is serious value for the money... even though it is a 'consumable' toy (once you've used up the stuff, it's gone), you still get plenty of entertainment (and learning) time to keep the kids amused.Definitely recommend to fill those afternoons on the dark and rainy autumn days when outside activities are not an option.

This science experiment kit kept my kids entertained for hours! There are tons of activities—over 50, including a fizzy volcano, colour-changing liquids, and even fluffy slime. It’s a great hands-on way to introduce real STEM concepts like chemical reactions and density without feeling like “schoolwork.” The instructions are clear, and the bonus experiments (accessible via QR code) are a nice touch.That said, I was a little disappointed with the quality of some of the plastic pieces. The test tubes and tools feel a bit flimsy, and the volcano model looks nothing like the picture on the box—it’s smaller and not as realistic. It still works fine for the experiment, just not quite as impressive visually.Overall, though, this kit is a fantastic way to get kids curious about science. With a bit of adult supervision, it’s safe, easy to use, and packed with fun experiments. Great value for the educational benefit—just wish the materials felt a bit sturdier.

This product comes in a neat giftable box, making in an ideal present for any 8-10 year old. Whilst it requires parental supervision, the instructions are designed to be targetted towards being able to self action the experiments. There's 50 different experiments within the box from slime making to exploding volcanos and they certainly offer hours of fun for little ones to entertain themselves. Obviously, this is great in offering learning through play so should certainly be encouraged! It comes with all the apparatus and liquids needed to perform the experiments, although as expected, once its gone, its gone of course. It represents decent value for money and can certainly recommend.

This is a good value to science for young kids. The kit includes instructions and ingredients for experiments. To grab a kids interest you need to be dramatic and this kit creates that effect well – my 5 year old loves the volcano! My kids really enjoy doing these simple but effective experiments and it has really given them an active interest in the wonders of science. Excellent value, recommended.

There is a lot of fun involved in this set, each experiment seems to have a fun outcome that is going to interest kids. If we want to engage them in STEM at a young age, fun and wonder are so important. The entire set is well-packaged with clear instructions and feels very safe to use. Buy with confidence
