This little bottle of natural goodness reminds me of another product I had a few years back, from a more well known skincare brand - before they discontinued it :(. It was my 'go to' for using after my face broke out in spots, or for dealing with even a single spot too. I always used it for this specific reason and it worked brilliantly. It consistently managed to calm my skin down and reset it back to 'normal' mode, sometimes with just one application or two at most. This new post-breakout product has certainly stepped in and taken its place. It's more watery in substance than my other gel-like serums, but not so watery that it's impossible to handle. My face seems to love it, and the recommended 2-3 drops are absorbed very quickly. In fact the first few times of using it I didn't manage to get a good even coverage across the t-zone, as it disappeared so fast. I've learnt from that now and apply the drops more specifically. It's also the only serum I have ever owned that has a sign on the bottle saying 'Shake before use', so that gives me the feeling its using natural ingredients that need a good shake, to ensure they are mixed well. That may not be it at all, but it seems sensible to me lol. I'm probably going to mainly use this like my old serum, which is for post-breakout calming-down duties, but I have been experimenting adding a couple of drops to my night serum and so far I'm liking the results, and especially as they say it can be a proactive step to help prevent breakouts in the first place. I think the 30ml is going to last me ages. Very happy with this product and am enjoying using it, which is also an important factor for me, in addition to its results.

My teenage daughter has been relentlessly using pimple patches with limited effectiveness for her breakouts and so we opted to try this serum, we saw little to no effect early on but as the days have gone by with repeated use her skin is a lot clearer and smoother. The marks from previous breakouts have diminished to almost nothing (she doesn't pick so there were no scars) and she is almost completely spot free. To a body conscious teenager this is like a miracle serum and she is absolutely over the moon with it.She uses it daily and only needs a tiny bit so it will last a while.I would 100% recommend this item for anyone suffering with breakouts.

This review is for the item described as “Nature's Greatest Secret Nova Balance Anti-Blemish Post-Breakout Serum 30ml | With Zinc PCA, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid & Botanicals”.I was impressed with the ingredients in this serum and really like that it is UK made to GMP standards. It has a pleasant botanical smell and is absorbed instantly into my skin - in fact it is so instant I find I need a little more than other serums with a more viscous or oily consistency to cover my whole face.I particularly like to use a serum which contains niacinamide to fade my age spots and hyaluronic acid to hydrate my dry skin. The other ingredients are a bonus for me which I hope will improve the appearance and texture of my skin and prevent breakouts which I get occasionally.Results take time and I am not expecting miracles, but the ingredients are good and the serum itself is pleasant to use.

This is a well thought-out and comprehensive formulation for post-breakout skin care, with a light citrusy scent, a dropper bottle for precise administration and a lightweight, easily absorbed serum which can be applied as a spot treatment or all over the face.An ingredient sheet is included in the packaging which details exactly what the natural rock-star ingredients are intended for: it’s clear to read, easy to understand, and educational. I like this—it’s good to know what I’m putting on my face, the science of skincare can sometimes be overwhelming. In a nutshell:• To exfoliate, fade blemishes and even skin-tone: Niacinamide (B3) and Willow Bark• To soothe irritation: Chamomile, Aloe Vera and Green Tea• To balance hydration: Hyaluronic Acid and Witch Hazel• To fight acne-causing bacteria: Colloidal Silver, Tea Tree and Zinc PCAIn the week I’ve been using the serum, I‘ve already seen a more even skin tone (dark spots diminishing) and overall soft, hydrated skin with minimised pores. This has quite a watery texture, as you can see from the one drop on my hand. It feels hydrating and you only need 2-3 drops for your face. There is a faint smell, a bit like witch hazel, which is pleasant. It absorbs into the skin really quickly, which means you can layer other products on top. I will have to come back and update once I’ve used it for a bit longer.

I think the serum works. My skin loves it - difficult to explain, but sometimes you can almost feel like your skin hungrily absorbs something that you put on it.. It is a good combination of acting ingredients, without synthetics like SLS.The serum itself is a tinted (it's normal) liquid, a bit thicker and smoother than water. Distributes and absorbs well in the skin, does not leave residue. Leaves a pleasant, very light sensation of moisturised skin, goes well under different face creams/ moisturisers without being too much. There's less redness altogether and spots heal quicker, and they're less noticeable when they're in the "active phase". I'm surprisingly pleased with it! Recommend

I've been suffering a lot from breakouts lately, possibly stress related.This serum seems to be really helpful in reducing inflammation after a blemish has reached a head and seems to really improve the speed of healing as well as, it seems, helping to keep my congested pores clearer in general.I'm in my 50s and helped all this would be behind me but my very oily skin disagrees so a serum like this which really helps me keep on top of my issues is a godsend.I'll be making a repeat purchase when this bottle which I have for test purposes is finished and will be keeping it as one of my main serums going forward. Good Stuff!
