Having recently had a motoring incident in which a Dash Cam would have been very desirable, I decided to look for a reasonably priced Dash Cam for our second car. When I saw this Allotive Dash Cam available as part of the Bolo Vine program I had to give it a try.First off out of the box, the product feels like a premium item. Fitting it was a simple matter of attaching a sticking plate behind the rear view mirror and using the suction cup to affix the main dash cam. Power is supplied via the cigarette lighter (showing my age there) socket. Same goes for the rear camera which attaches via a cable to the main dash cam unit. The suppled cables are more than sufficient for most cars. A tool is supplied to help pry trim away to hide cables but as I'm quite ham fisted, I opted to use the suppled cable clips. Video is recorded on the supplied 32gb memory card and this can be removed to download files to your PC if required. Picture quality is perfectly acceptable. One thing I haven't needed (thankfully) is the G-sensor collision detector, but I've no reason to think this wouldn't work if the time comes. One thing to note is that in order to use the Parking mode, the dsahcam has to be hardwired using a kit available separately to to the cars electrics. This is beyond me so cant comment on the effectiveness of that feature. Overall, if you are looking for a cheap reliable dash cam thats easy to use you really can't go wrong. At £29.99 (at time of review) it' a steal. Recommended.

This item was provided to me free of charge through Bolo's wonderful vine program, it gives me the opportunity to test and evaluate products I wouldn't normally look at, in return I leave an unbiased product review as to whether I like a product or not. what makes a product good, or in some cases what makes a product bad, these are my opinions and my opinions alone, they are in no way swayed by Bolo or the manufactures of the product.There's no need anymore for anyone to not have a dash cam in their vehicle, given the price point of this, it has to be the star buy of the month.It has everything to get you going immediately, and it is pretty much very simple to set up, just get a little time and your perfect install will have you going in no time.As I said you have everything to get you up and running in no time, it even has a memory card to start your recording immediately as well as a rear camera, once installed it can be left to just run and run always ready for when you are.The build quality is surprisingly good, for this price point, I'll be honest I was expecting much, and I have to say I was more than pleasantly surprised.Once it is up and running the recording quality is very nice and good throughout the day, even the night time images produced are very good.The software is effective and simple to use.The hardest part of all this and that it the same with any dash cam you install, that it fitting the rear camera, I'm fortunate that the route to the rear wasn't very taxing for me, therefore it was simple for me to fit in no time, all I can say, is persevere, as it will be worth it when you have finishedAll in all, this is a very nice little dash cam, it has really good recording quality even at night time, well worth the price as you do get a lot for your money, and once fitted, you also get piece of mind, knowing it is there protecting you.Very happy with this.

This dash cam is great value for money and works surprisingly well for the price. It’s a simple, straightforward setup almost ready to go straight out of the box. The instructions are clear, and everything you need (including the SD card) is included, which is a nice bonus.The video quality is decent for a 1080p dash cam, and the wide-angle lens captures a good view of the road ahead and behind. It automatically starts recording when the car’s on, and the loop recording works just as it should. The camera sensor is also sensitive enough to pick up sudden movements, which gives a bit of extra peace of mind when parking.If, like me, your car is pre-wired for a dash cam, just double-check that you have the right connectors before installing once that’s sorted, it’s smooth sailing.Overall, it’s a solid little dash cam that offers reliable performance and great value without needing to spend a fortune.I hope you found my review helpful :)

Fitting this in the car took only a short while, and it’s been running smoothly since. Both front and rear coverage provide a reassuring view of what’s happening around me. The recordings are clear and hold up well even in darker conditions, which is exactly what I wanted for evening driving. The memory card included meant I could get it working straight away without any extra setup. Parking mode has been a real benefit, as I’ve already had it pick up small bumps when the car was left outside. The menu and controls are simple enough to work through without confusion. Footage is stored reliably, and I’ve tested the playback without any missing files. It feels solidly built, and I’ve come to trust it as a quiet but dependable addition to my daily driving.
