My wife had been clinging to an old canvas tote until the seams finally surrendered, so I surprised her with this Rainsmore as a replacement. It is a roomy thing, about 42 × 32 × 14 cm, and it swallows her 15.6-inch Dell, charger and diary with space to spare. The zip closes without a hint of strain.The outer shell is PU leather over a nylon lining; nine pockets keep everything organised, and the padded laptop sleeve stops the computer rattling about. I like the discreet magnetic pocket on the front for loose papers. A week of Aberdeen drizzle failed to dampen the contents, which says a lot for the waterproofing.Its structured shape keeps documents flat and pairs neatly with a suit, although the retro brown finish does look a little plastic once you study it closely. At roughly a kilo when empty it is not exactly lightweight, and on a recent rail journey the detachable strap dug into my shoulder— a broader pad would help. The magnets on the outer pocket feel slightly under-powered too.Still, for £37 the construction seems solid, storage is generous and the overall look easily outclasses many bags at twice the price. Anyone insisting on genuine leather might pass it by, but for most commuters it is hard to fault.

It's a multi-purpose bag that oozes class, perfect to show off for a business meeting or general office travel.The dark green color is really nice and looks professional, and the PU leather feels sturdy. You won't be worried about it getting a little wet on rainy days.The bag is bigger than I expected, which is a huge plus. Laptops up to 15.6-inch can perfectly fit in the padded compartment, and you can still have plenty of room for other items such as a water bottle, lunch etc.There are also some extra pockets to store phones, chargers and keys.Overall It's a practical and stylish bag for many uses.

Lovely. Used for work. I initially thought could be unisex but on use realised it perhaps would be more likely to be classified as a woman's purse because of the diagonals at each side. If that doesn't bother you, perfect laptap bag.

This is a lap top bag, but really you can use it for other purposes, as it is very spacious and can house all sorts of things, it comes in a number of colours, black, brown, dark green and vintage brown, which is the colour I got for this review. The bag is made of waterproof PU leather that is fake leather but when you look and touch it, it feels like real leather, but just does not have that leather smell, in terms of quality it is very well made and stitched.The bag as I said above is fairly large, it measures across 16.54inch, 12.6inch tall and fully opened at the base it measures 5.51inch, this will enable you to put inside a 15.6inch laptop, so as I said this is a good capacious bag, you can carry it with the two long fixed handles, these are 6.69inch high and padded so they are comfortable to hold, there is also a adjustable shoulder strap as well, which is 24.8inch and can open up to 44.09inch, so it is long enough for most people.Before looking at the various pockets and zips, I firstly examined the bag carefully for any imperfections in the stitching and zips, I am pleased to say I could not find any obvious issues, so I was very glad, the zips all opened smoothly and the buckles were sturdy and no loose threads or issues with the stitching.So the pocket and zips, firstly, there is a good size pocket on one side on the outside, this is held shut with a magnetic stud fastener, which opens and closes perfectly and can take A4 size documents or paper. There is then a long zip for the main compartment, this opens up to allow you to store a lap top in a padded side pocket, there is then a further large zipped pocket, which is big and deep, there is a further smaller zipped pocket on the side, two open pockets for phones and chargers etc. and two further open pockets for pens and such like to be stored, then at either end two mesh pockets for small drink cans and bottles.There are plenty of pockets and zips to store items, as well as the large opening when you open the main zip, I think this is an excellent bag, the only slight issue is that it may not appeal to the younger person, who are more into rucksacks but should appeal to the professional woman, I like it and will be using it to carry my lap top, umbrella and other bits and pieces, such as my Kindle and phone, keys and all the other bits that women need to carry around, there is still room left to store more.Also, inside the bag there was a nice note in a number of languages, this note said if you are not satisfied that you should contact the makers, a nice touch, you have a one year warranty and so it is good to see that the makers care about their product.The only issue is the price, it is not too expensive and not too cheap either, in fact it is about right for what you are getting, as some rucksacks are more expensive than this bag, so I am happy with the price and think it is good value for money, along with the different colours, I am happy to give this bag five stars.
