I changed because I found out I was pregnant and wanted a less chemical deodorant. I was a bit wary of buying this if I’m honest between some of the negative reviews, the fact it’s lavender scented and well, I’m a creature of habit. However, I’m so glad I did. The scent is beautiful. It lasts all day. I have caught myself sniffing myself and it smells like a really nice perfume when the scent settles. I can’t pin point what it smells like but the first time I caught it I immediately went “that’s a nice perfume!” Realising that perfume was me!I can say this lasts me the whole day, I’m not wet, sticky or sweaty in any way. The fragrance lasts as well. I have only ever felt the need to re apply during the Scottish heat wave because we were all melting but that’s an unusual thing here really. The other bonus I have noticed is the after shave bumps and rash, these are minimal. I used to feel like my deodorants stung when I put them on and and sometimes went without it at all because of this. I do not have this issue with this deodorant.I will give you a tip. This does feel wetter than typical deodorants, I have started putting this on first after I’m dried and getting ready in reverse so bottom half then top. This way I don’t feel wet when placing it on. I have however been in a rush a few times and have placed it on last as I’m heading out the door and haven’t experienced any downsides to it. No staining, no real sticking. Just personal preference to not feel “wet” when I have a t shirt on.Okay, I think I’ve rambled enough. If you are on the fence, I highly recommend this product. If you are looking for a product that makes you feel better about less chemicals and more friendly in terms of econess id say this is a pretty good deodorant for that. Sure, it’s not a 99p deodorant you could pick up at the super market but there is far dearer products out there as well. This is a decent priced, great quality product and honestly, with this less is more and I think you’ll find it’ll last longer too. I’ll definitely be trying out the other scents and for an extra couple of quid, I feel better about knowing it’s less chemicals going near my body during pregnancy.5* highly recommend :)

After using a well known brand of chemical free deodorant. An having an extreme reaction to it. ( as did another family member so it wasn't just myself). Also the after smell the next morning was very bad. I was very dubious about trying another chemical free brand. HOWEVER I couldn't be more pleased with salt of the earth. There is absolutely no bad reaction from it at all. It goes on lovely. It's a proper roll ball roll on. Not a bit of faff that you have to put in yourself an always falls out. The smell is lovely. An absolutely no disgusting smell the next morning. I can't be more pleased and will absolutely be buying it again.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks and overall it’s a decent natural deodorant. The Ocean and Coconut scent is fresh but subtle, and it doesn’t come across as artificial. One of the best things is that it’s really gentle on the skin. No irritation at all, even though I’ve had issues with other roll-ons in the past.The bottle says it can last up to six months, but in reality you need more than a couple of swipes for good coverage. If you’re using it daily, it probably won’t stretch that far.It does the job on cooler days and for light activity, but it struggles when the weather is warm or if you’re moving around a lot. It doesn’t completely stop sweating and you might notice some odour by the end of the day.Overall, it’s a good pick if you want something natural, vegan and kind to sensitive skin. Just be aware it has its limits when things heat up.

I've been using Salt of the Earth Deodorant for several years now, and I can confidently say I won't be going back to any other kind.This deodorant has completely won me over, and it's all thanks to its effectiveness and natural ingredients.What I love most is that it's free from all those harsh chemicals found in typical deodorants.I've tried so many different brands in the past, and they always left me with either irritation or a lingering chemical scent that I couldn't stand. But with Salt of the Earth, I feel fresh and clean without any of those worries.The application is easy, and it lasts throughout the day, even during workouts or on hot days. This is a nice deodorant roll on, it’s not an antiperspirant so it won’t stop sweating but that’s not what its purpose is so don’t buy it if that’s what you’re hoping for.It has a nice smell and didn’t react badly to my skin or anything, it doesn’t seem to dry much faster but that could be dependent on your skin.The issue for me is that if you have any hair at all, this will pull on it. The first time I used it I got a bit of a shock. You don’t really expect that from a £4 roll on.It works, it smells nice, but for most people you are just better off buying a normal cheap roll on that won’t pull on your hair.

Works Amazingly Well—For Those Who Actually Know What They're Buying!

This deodorant is great! I used to use the rock salt version, but after accidentally breaking it, I decided to give this one a try, and I’m so glad I did. The scent is subtle but pleasant, and it works perfectly. Even after long, physically demanding days, there was no trace of body odour.Now, it’s clear some reviewers don’t fully understand what they’re buying. One person complained about potassium alum being an aluminum salt, likely confusing it with the aluminum compounds found in antiperspirants, like aluminum chlorohydrate or aluminum zirconium. Those are designed to block sweat by clogging pores, while potassium alum is a naturally occurring mineral salt that sits on the skin's surface to reduce bacteria and odour—it doesn’t absorb into your skin like the others. So, no, it’s not the same thing, and a little research would’ve saved them a lot of confusion. For those of us who understand what this product is, it works amazingly well and is definitely worth it!
