5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant.

    Omg brilliant really works.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value, but unclear info

    S. · 17 August 2025

This seems good. I have not actually used it yet, though.Instructions say to mix 1 spoon with 2 ounces of distilled water, and I've not yet been able to get any - it's expensive online, a lot cheaper locally, but only in larger supermarkets or car shops, that I've been able to find. You can add ½ teaspoon of glycerine, probably as mild preservative. I have that, anyway, so will probably use it. I suppose it would also work with boiled tap water, in a pinch, but will go off quicker, so probably better to mix a smaller amount in that case,What annoys me a bit is that the title says this has low molecular weight, and the description on the product says the opposite, that it's high. The former penetrates the skin more easily, the latter provides surface hydration and plumping effect. There is also medium weight, which would likely be better, as it offers a balance between the two, or a mixture.I wanted to try this because you can get a higher concentration than with commercial serums, of which the best tend to be 3%, I think. But if you use the recommended amount, it works out to about 0.18%, as far as I can see. Which seems very low.. Well, I found out why: a scoop is 500 mg, not 100 as stated (and the total weight is about 105 grams, btw). So adding that to 2 ounces of water gives 0.87%. For 2.6%, you need 3 scoops, and 3 ½ gives you 3%. At least, this is what I calculated for a different brand, which had the same size measure included, with same mistake with the info. But this one says that only half the weight is actually hyaluronic acid, so if that is the case, you'd have to double that. But below that, it also says that it can be mixed into drinks to provide “additional protein, vitamins and dietary fibre” for deep hydration. This provides none of those, it's a type of sugar that binds water. So not sure how reliable any of the info provided is.Based on the initial maths, you get over 30 times about 60 ml of finished product at 3% from the whole packet. Based on the doubled amounts, you still get 15 times that, and either makes it excellent value. And you know exactly what is in it.. although it might be a bit unclear how much is in it ;)It seems irritation free, as when weighing it, I accidentally blew some powder right in my eyes, and it caused no reaction at all. And that is obviously undiluted, so considering that, I'd say it probably does not hurt to use more than recommended, but I will try and update this when I've used it..This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion. I try to use or test all products, or if I can't, I at least check them. You can see my rating system on my public profile under my bio, as I don't want to add it to every review.

Not tried yet but very small bag and expensive price but I am trying to find best quality with decent review items. Not Pure Hylauranic Acid, it is Sodium Hyalauranate so can be used as cosmetic or supplement. I wanted pure but it seems to only come in this form.

3.0 out of 5 stars Easy supplement/ face serum

Seems like you can digest this and use it on you're skin which seems too good to be true! Need to do more research on this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value for DIY Skincare

    D.t.R.M. · 29 July 2025

This hyaluronic acid powder is ideal if you’re into making your own serums or masks. It dissolves well with a little effort and doesn’t leave a gritty texture. I’ve mixed it into aloe gel and toner with good results — skin feels smoother and more hydrated. You only need a tiny amount per batch, so this 100g bag will last a long time. It’s a solid investment for anyone into homemade skincare.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to mix, very good quality and price

    R. · 22 May 2025

I’ve been making my homemade skin care products for nearly thirty years, this allows me to ensure the ingredients I use are pure and good quality. The person who taught me all those years ago, only used items you could consume, which at the time was very strange, but over time I’ve come to believe she was right. I find a lot of modern skin care has ingredients I don’t know nor can I pronounce, and since going through menopause my skin has become prone to facial hair which seems to grown exponentially when I use commercial products. While I do boast to have youthful skin ( it’s always been oily so anyone with oily skin reading this have some hope) it is very slowly showing signs of aging. My hands however always need help. So I tend to make skin care products that can be multi tasking. This is easy to make up, I used 60ml of distilled water, I put in one scoop of this very fine powder and shook it very vigorously. It turned opaque and solidified slightly turning into a gel overnight. I did keep shaking it and then I added a dollop of jojoba oil and got my husband to start shaking it to combine the two. While they didn’t combine brilliantly it’s enough for me.I do shake it every time I use it, and I use 1ml pipette to dispense the gel onto my skin.It is very cooling, it absorbs super quickly without leaving a sticky tight feeling and my hands are looking my more youthful.Personally I am preferring making my own to purchasing as I get to control the ingredients and the price point is fabulous.

5.0 out of 5 stars Big Bag, Big Value – Brilliant for Mixing Your Own Hydrating Serum

    L. · 15 May 2025

I’ve spent a small fortune over the years on fancy little bottles promising youthful, plump skin. Thought I’d give making my own serum a go, and this powder hasn’t disappointed. You get loads – honestly, 100g is going to last me longer than the baby’s obsession with Hey Duggee (and that’s saying something). It’s really fine, dissolves quickly in cooled boiled water, and turns into that lovely silky gel texture. I followed a simple DIY recipe I found online – just a tiny pinch in 100ml of water, let it sit overnight, and boom, homemade serum for pennies.Feels light and refreshing on my skin, and doesn’t leave that tight or sticky feeling some ready-made products do. Been using it twice a day under my moisturiser, and my face definitely feels softer and more hydrated. Plus, I like knowing exactly what’s in it – no random ingredients I can’t pronounce. If you like to get hands-on with your skincare and save a few quid, this is well worth a go. Just make sure to store your mixture in a clean, airtight bottle in the fridge – learned that one the hard way after leaving it out overnight.Pros:Huge 100g bag – great valueDissolves well, easy to mix your own serumsFeels light, hydrating, and non-sticky on the skinNo extra chemicals or added ingredientsCons:No scoop or instructions providedNeeds clean mixing and storage to keep it fresh
