I wanted to like these, but unfortunately didn't.Both my wife and I found the taste rather odd and uninspiring. There was no great taste and was difficult to drink with all the "tea" bulk around. The bag contents are too big to put in most straining teapots so not sure how best to actually drink this. You CAN use the same bag contents to re-brew the same ingredients more than once so it is better value than it originally appears. However at £17.89 for 10 bags - even if you were to brew the same bag 4 times is still rather high. Of course price vs benefit is a subjective view and others may see this differently. In effect you are getting maybe 40 drinks for £17.89.My stomach didn't feel totally right for a few hours after drinking this so while I am not thinking there is anything "wrong" with it - maybe some of the ingredients I was a little sensitive to.The colour of the tea once brewed is not the same rich colour as the photo suggests and the contents look pretty sad compared to the same photo. The photo made it look really appealing but in reality it wasnt that appealing to look at.I cannot really comment on the claims made for this tea: Liver and Kidney Health, Detox, Immune boost, sleep quality. I can say I had no more energy however. I think a lot of this is going to be how different people react to the various herbs but it did nothing for me unfortunately.

After brewing this Aruanmogu Ginseng Ten Treasure Tea one evening, I was disappointed by the colour & general appearance of the brew, as compared to the pictures in the advertising in the Bolo listing of the product. Neither had the dry ingredients in the plastic ‘teabag’ looked anywhere near as good as those shown I n the advertising pictures. The brew lacked the very appealing lovely fresh appearance of the re-hydrated fruits & herbs floating in a deep red liquid as depicted in that advertising.When I then went on to taste the brew, I was surprised & further disappointed that the taste lacked the impact I had expected: it was very mildly fruity, with a hint of nuttiness, but overall simply a warm watery drink. My friend, with whom I shared that first brew, shared my opinion of the taste, neither strongly appealing, nor distasteful.I had expected more, especially given the high price of £17.89 for only 10 ‘tea’ bags. True to the advertising though, it was possible to use the same ‘teabag’ contents to brew further brews, with only slightly less colour & taste than the original brew. My friend had gone home by then, so did not taste the re-brews. t was even possible to make a final brew from those ingredients the next morning … I felt I had to try & get my monies-worth, given that high price!Now the following part of my review comes with a health warning, but please look for the reviews of others to see if any of them had a similar experience, & discount this report if none of them do. My friend, who only tasted the 1st brew, did not notice the same effect. After drinking the original & 3 further re-brewed cups of this Aruanmogu Ginseng Ten Treasure Tea, I suffered a mildly adverse effect over the next 3 days: disposal of my boy’s waste products, both liquid & solid were adversely affected – I had to go to the toilet far more frequently than normal. Solids were far less solid but not verging on full-blown diarrhoea; none of the ‘explosive’ & physical discomfort of that, simply looser consistency 7 frequent need to empty my bowels. The need to pass liquid was also much more frequent, & when I did it lacked the normal speed of flow & did not seem to fully empty me (I might need to go again moments later). I did not, however, feel at all unwell. This situation persisted for about 3 days & has now abated entirely. It is possible, of course, that the reason for this affliction had nothing to do with it. My friend was not so affected, but he had only one drink of this Aruanmogu Ginseng Ten Treasure Tea, whereas I had 5. So, unless the reviews of this Aruanmogu Ginseng Ten Treasure Tea contain reports of others experiencing similar results, please dismiss my warning as irrelevant, maybe caused by something else entirely. In which case, I humbly apologise to Aruanmogu for mentioning it, & will remove this element of my report if I do not soon see other hints of the same effect on others. Had it not been for my body’s apparently unfortunate reaction to drinking this Aruanmogu Ginseng Ten Treasure Tea, I would have given it a star score of 3, due to its taste & appearance not living up to its high price tag; my current score of 1 takes account of my adverse bodily reaction after drinking it. I noticed no beneficial effect of this brew on body function, mood or performance.
