It says on the listing on the Bolo page it’s vegan ingredients but it says on the list of ingredients on the box that it contains salmon egg extract, amongst many other plant extracts such as spinach, garlic, oats, broccoli thre list goes on. I’m not vegan or vegetarian so it’s ok for me but it is off putting to read about it on Bolo page and then see one for certain isn’t true. If it wasn’t for this the ingredient list is impressive and makes me feel confident my skin is going to be happy.The smell once opened is nice and refreshing subtlety flowery smell with a bit of that kids jelly slime they get in those egg pots smell. It comes with a spatula that I tried using to apply and I found my fingers a bit easier to rub it into face but spatula good to get it out of the tub to keep it clean from my fingers bacteria.It’s quite a big tub so should last a while. The consistency is thick and remains sticky to touch after applying so it needs to be applied a while before going to bed for it to dry unless you always lay on your back.It feels like it could block the pores as it’s thick and just like a jelly covering the skin but it’s says on the Bolo page that it’s good at letting skin breathe and suitable for oily skin. I am prone to spots if I do anything my skin doesn’t like, so I will update the review if I start to get any.As it will probably take a while to notice anything definitive I will update if I do notice anything after a couple of weeks use as I have the whole tub to get through and it looks like it will last a good couple of months. For £9.99 it sounds very good deal but will wait and see if it is as effective as it’s promising.

I really like this face cream – the jelly texture feels very light and refreshing on the skin, and it absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue. My skin feels soft, hydrated, and smooth after using it, and I’ve noticed it gives a nice healthy glow. A little goes a long way, so the jar will last a while. Great option if you want hydration without heaviness!

This is a nice moisturiser, it's good at making my skin feel hydrated. I especially like to apply it overnight as it feels like it has more of a chance to absorb, plus it's quite a heavy consistency. It is clear like jelly and comes with a spatula for scooping it out of the tub. As I mentioned already, it's quite heavy. You can feel it sitting on your skin, which for me isn't a great thing on my face, however it's quite nice for hands and feet or other parts of the bodyI have enough tried applying make up over the top of it as I don't think foundation would sit well on top of it. I chose this product because it contains collagen and I am trying to improve the appearance of a scar I have. I believe collagen production is important in the healing of skin and so I am hoping that with consistent use and a routine including other measures, this will help. I wouldn't say there are any immediately noticeable effects so far though.Overall I would say that I wouldn't really recommend this for anyone who wants to use it as a day cream on their face due to it's heaviness, however it is a good night cream and definitely gives you a nice moisturiser feeling by the morning.

I had high hopes for the Collagen Jelly Face Cream, and at the sensible price point I thought I’d give it a go.I’d read all the claims and accolades on the product page and it sounded wonderful.However, the reality was that it was a gooey, gunky, sticky pink mess in a jar.When I opened the jar lid it had already seeped out and the jelly had escaped over the spatula that was provided in the lid. So I was concerned about the hygiene aspect of the packaging.Then I tried to apply the jelly using the spatula. That was interesting and I know I’ll never be any good at plastering anything!So fingers it was and I was very sparing with the product as I could see that a little went a long way.Oh dear, my face was a sticky mess for the rest of the day and eventually I resorted to wiping it all off with a damp facecloth as I couldn’t bear the feeling of it on my skin.I won’t be persevering with the use of this face jelly and maybe it can achieve all the wonderful things it says it’s capable of in time, but for me it was a sticky experience I’d rather not repeat.

I have had a collagen jelly moisturiser before which I loved so was keen to try this. The packaging is very nice although like another review, on opening the container was so chock full the contents had leaked out, down the side and the outer lid, trying to put the inner lid back on was impossible without more oozing out, however after a quick clean up all good. I have removed the lid and spatula completely as I found you really only need a teeny, tiny amount of this jelly making the spatula redundant. So on to the product… really lovely, noticeable results in softness, texture and feel of my skin, if you use a very small amount it absorbs well and dries in a relatively short time however too much jelly and it stays thick and tacky and seems like it is never going to dry. It has taken a bit of trial and error but ultimately it is a very good product and for the size of the tub, the price and the small amount needed this is an excellent value collagen jelly moisturiser

Effective and great facial moisturizing gel

This product was well packaged inside a box, and the box itself was sealed very nicely. The design of the jar is excellent as far as creams/gels in a jar goes, as it has an interior lid with a spoon that you could use. In comparison, the gels in a jar sold by Laneige do not have this mechanism, so this product designed process in which you can retrieve the gels in a better way.For the actual jar, the plastic is very solid and of good quality. It does not feel cheap and is very solid.In terms of the actual product, the translucent gel itself does have a pinkish reddish colour. A little of this product goes a long way as it spreads very easily. I have oily skin and my spouse has dry skin. Here in the summer with the fan on, both our faces are still sticky 10 minutes in, after following the instruction of applying a "thin" layer. This is a very heavy, rich, and sticky gel, in which both my spouse and I believe that this would be more appropriate to be used in the fall and winter seasons. Specifically, we believe this would be more ideal as a night cream to lock in that moisture and to ensure your face is soft and supple. Alternatively, if you have dry skin, this product would work for you for all seasons. I have oily skin and my face was not able to absorb this product (in the summer without the AC on). Per my spouse, the product became fully absorbed in approximately 20 minutes and her skin is nice and supple, and not sticky.As for the effects, this skin did not result in irritation to either my face or my spouse's. My spouse as dry and sensitive skin, and mine too as I'm on tretinoin, so this is very important. The gel is very moisturizing. It also leaves a slight "sheen" to the face, somewhat to Korean glass skin. Something else that we liked was that there was not really much of a smell to this product either.All in all, this would be a great product especially if you have dry skin, or if you live in a dry and cold climate and need to ensure your face is moisturized.

Gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber mit Wirkung

Als mir diese leckere rote Creme angeboten wurde , waren meine ersten Gedanken - die muß ich haben ... 😉🫣Beim auspacken dachte ich mir dann so , sieht absolut lecker aus , aber willst du das wirklich ins Gesicht " schmieren " 🫣🫣🫣 ....Es erinnerte mich an so eine Bonboncreme , welche ich früher bei meinem Sohn und heute bei meinen Enkeln , aus den Ecken der Hosentasche kratze 😉😉😉🫣🫣🫣. Zum Glück ist ihr Geruch aber eher neutral 😉 .Obwohl diese Creme nicht ganz so klebrig ist , spüre ich sie doch auf der Haut .... Es ist kein wirklich klebriges Gefühl , aber man spürt sie eben ... Ich persönlich habe das Gefühl , als zieht sie nie richtig weg 🫣 . Deshalb nehme diese Creme nur noch nachts und wenn ich mir dann am Morgen das Gesicht wasche , dann kommt es mir wieder etwas klebrig vor 🫣 ...Allerdings möchte ich auch betonen , das sich mein Gesicht ( nach 4 Wochen ) " zarter anfühlt ... Also es gibt tatsächlich einen spürbaren Effekt ...Nicht so toll finde ich die Verpackung , die wirkt auf mich billig und dieser Deckel passt einfach nie 🫣🫣🫣 .... , ständig verkantet er , das nervt ...Ich habe übrigens von gleicher Firma ein Rindertalg mit Honig , der ist unübertroffen 😉😉

Sticky moisturizer

This collagen jelly might moisturize well, but the stickiness puts me off too much to continue use. I knew I was ordering a jelly and expected the consistency. However, the stickiness after a light application feels like I rubbed a glue stick on my face, even a couple hours later. I can't stand it. I washed my hands twice after putting this on. I did not use a lot. I've used a jelly moisturizer before that was aloe-based, and it rubbed in smoothly and didn't stay sticky after it dried (leading me to believe I would like other jelly moisturizers). This collagen jelly sure stays sticky. I can't imagine putting it on before makeup. I'm going to try it again at night and see if it works better for me as a mask, then wash it off in the shower, because I want to give this one more try. I've attempted it a few times as a daytime moisturizer and am giving up on that. If that means I have lower tolerance for this texture on my face than some people do, that's okay. Personal preference, I guess. I do already have a collagen moisturizer that is a lotion and works great, so I'll go back to that for daytime. If I try this collagen jelly as a night moisturizer mask and like it, I'll update my review.The product itself is pink, has no discernible scent, and seems to be a good value for the quantity in the jar. It reminds me of hair gel. Because this product has a huge list of ingredients and a sticky texture, I was curious about which ones are from plants, which are from animals, and which ingredients are chemical. This product is definitely not vegan, but real collagen is not, anyway. With the disclaimer that I'm no scientist, here's a summary of the categories of ingredients after a little research:Plant-based extracts: Many fruit, vegetable, seed, leaf, and flower extracts (blueberry, broccoli, spinach, tea seed, tomato, grape, oat, garlic, etc.).Animal-based ingredients: Multiple marine/fish-derived (collagen, elastin, salmon egg, DNA, proteoglycan).Chemicals: Glycols, polymers, preservatives, carbomer, fragrance, synthetic vitamins, hyaluronic acid derivatives.It doesn't feel fair to subtract more than one star for the stickiness, since the product appears to offer the moisturizing benefits it advertises, so 4/5 stars is where I land. But, in full honesty, I hate this stuff.

Buona crema

Sto utilizzando questa crema da ormai diversi giorni.Si presenta sotto forma gelatinosa ma la sua applicazione mi è risultata semplice. L'assorbimento sulla mia pelle non è immediato ma non rilevo un effetto appiccicaticcio quindi mi sta bene.Non posso ancora parlare degli effetti perché va valutata su tempi lunghi ma almeno non ho avuto controindicazioni sulla pelle come arrossamento o irritazione. Del resto è dermalogicamente testata e questo mi rassicura sul suo utilizzo a lungo termine.Vedremo col tempo se varrà la pena ricomprarla.
