Slight downside: it feels *very slightly* lighter than OEM, but no noticeable power difference. A steal for the price!

Picked up this 2-pack of 18V batteries as spares for my cordless tools, and they've been decent so far. They fit just like the originals and hold a charge well. I’ve been using them in a drill and an impact driver without any issues. The LED power indicator is a nice touch, especially when you're mid-job and want to check if you’ve got enough juice left. One thing I did notice, though, is they take a bit longer to fully charge compared to the original branded ones. But for the price, getting two of these is still a good deal in my book.

Incorrectly advertised as in description as BL1850B - the photo is correct as they are BL1830B. However, the photos are also misleading as they show the star logo. The item arrived without these, and so Makita advise not using with their products. Returned.

Solid constructed ‘off brand’ Makita battery which fits my Makita charger and tools without any issue, solid connection and tool performance appears to be as the original.It comes two thirds charged (according to the three stage battery indicator), once used it charged without any issue. Life span unknown at this stage but so far, so good.Long term performance is unknown at this stage; I generally am a bit cautious about non-genuine batteries due to possible issues with tool performance, (never sure if they have the same built in protection as genuine batteries, though it claims to protect against over charge and deep discharge) deterioration in the battery cells which reduce lifespan etc.At this stage can’t fault it so would certainly make a solid back-up battery option.

I started doing some diy projects in my garden as spring came and my old batteries started to hold charge quite badly and I decided to get some replacement ones, but I didn’t want to go for the original as they are quite expensive so I came across these batteries.These batteries arrived quickly and came fully charged and I started to work immediately. I must say they hold charge very well and I like how solidly they are built. So I would definitely buy these again as I am happy with quality and how well the charge lasts.

These are compatible batteries, and the level indicator is bright and easy to read. Quality of the construction appears robust. However, as is almost inevitably the case with cheap equivalent batteries - the capacity is not as advertised.I ran a battery capacity test, from fully charged (about 20V) down to 12.5V (the minimum safe voltage you should discharge a 5 cell Li-Ion pack) at a drain rate of 2.75A and got the following capacity results:52.1 Wh (compared to 99.0 Wh stated on battery)2.87 Wh (compared to 5.50 Wh stated on battery)So that's just over 50% of the stated capacity. I guess it's for you to decide whether that's good value for money.Given that you could buy a pack of 4 of these batteries for not much more than price of a genuine Makita 5Ah battery, you probably are getting enough capacity to justify the price. The only question then is whether they will be as robust and long lasting as the genuine item. Only time will tell...

These 18V 5.5Ah batteries work perfectly with my Makita tools. They hold a strong charge and last just as long as the originals. Great performance for the price—highly recommend the 2-pack!

Ich habe mir diesen Ersatzakku als Alternative zu den originalen Makita-Akkus geholt – und ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht! Der Akku ist kompatibel mit all meinen 18V Makita-Geräten (Bohrschrauber und Winkelschleifer) und sitzt perfekt im Gerät sowie im Ladegerät.Besonders praktisch finde ich den integrierten LED-Ladestandanzeiger – so weiß ich immer genau, wie viel Energie noch verfügbar ist. Auch nach mehreren Ladezyklen zeigt der Akku keine Leistungseinbußen.Die Verarbeitung wirkt robust und hochwertig, und bisher gab es keine Überhitzung oder Kompatibilitätsprobleme.
Passen für 18V-Makita Geräte, Laufzeit okay.
Die Akkus passen perfekt für meine Makita 18V Gerät.Preislich sind die Akkus unschlagbar !Natürlich halten die nicht solange wie die originalen Makita Akkus, jedoch kosten die nur die Hälft
Leistung fällt schneller ab
Ich kaufte billiger und muss nun öfter aufladen. In der Leistungserbringung unterscheiden sich die "Ersatzakkus" nicht wesentlich von den Originalen. Jedoch ist ein erheblicher Unterschied in der Laufzeit feststellbar. Sie sind schneller leer und müssen daher öfter geladen werden.
Lässt sich nicht laden, keine Leistung
Ein Akku hält recht kurz der andere lässt sich nicht mehr laden. Und das nach nicht mal zwei Verwendungen.Leider einen Tag nach der Rückgabefrist festgestellt.
