This BRDRC case is for the DJI Osmo 7P gimbal for smartphones. It has a water resistant zip with two zippers and at one end, a loop through which you can pass the supplied carabiner or the wrist strap.The case is quite rigid and the body measures 22cm wide by 12cm deep by 8cm high - with the zips, add a centimetre to the width and depth. Empty, it weighs 245 grammes and with the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P Gimbal 3-Axis Stabilizer inside, it weighs around 670 grammes for the version without the microphones.inside the lid of the case is a zipped webbing section which you can keep things such as leads and so on. There is plenty of room inside the case so you can have a wrist strap on the bottom of the gimbal without having to take it off each time you put it in the case.One thing that this case does not have is a carrying handle which it could really do with having. However, as a protective case that you put in your rucksack or camera carryall, it is just right. One thing that I would be hesitant about doing is to use the carabiner to fasten it to the outside of a rucksack as this makes it vulnerable to theft.This case very useful as the moulded centre keeps everything separate so in the event of an impact, it stands a better chance of being kept safe. The only thing that takes a star from it is the fact that it doesn't have a carrying handle.

I’m really pleased with this protective case for my Osmo mobile 7. The gimbal fits perfectly, as does the phone mount into their respective slots - I’m really pleased the mount has a separate slot as I’ve hated storing it attached to the gimbal. There’s enough pressure to keep them held in place. There’s a mesh zip compartment in the lid which is handy for the Osmo bag that came with the gimbal, and a nice carabiner/wrist strap to carry or hang the case. The case is nice and firm but also has plenty of ‘give’ so it feels like it will protect the gimbal very well. The outer is nice and matte, and doesn’t look at all plasticky and it’s a great versatile colour. It did have a slightly fishy/unpleasant smell on opening which I suspect is glue - hopefully this will be fixed by leaving it open to air for a while. Overall it feels like a great quality piece of kit.

A very good case for what it is designed for. everything fits snuggly and feels well protected. The only thing that isn't well protected is your wallet because this simple case costs £20 which, I know, is what bespoke cases cost but it still seems a bit much for what it actually is. Still, I can't mark it down because I don't like the price of it and in all honesty I would struggle to find a better suited case for this amount. I would definitely recommend it.

Sturdy Osmo Storage Case That Works for SE Models
Even though it’s made for the 7P, I use it for my Osmo SE and it fits almost everything except the tripod. It’s sturdy and offers great protection.
Basic Box Befitting a Basic Gimbal
This provides basic storage and transport for our Osmo 7 (and has a slot for the additional module of the Pro version). Nothing was surprising about quality at this price point. I'm guessing the case is lightweight, flexible plastic both inside and out, as opposed to either rigid or spongy foam. I think it would provide adequate protection against most bumps and drops but maybe not against crush. The slots are well shaped but not especially snug, so the gimbal rattles very slightly against the lid when you shake the box. As you can see from the photo, there's a lot of unused real estate if you don't own all the accessories. Personally, I would sacrifice some protection for a box that takes up less luggage space.This product was provided for free without expectation of a positive review. However, gifts create an inherent conflict of interest which can lead to unconscious bias.

I’m really pleased with this protective case for my Osmo mobile 7.
