4.0 out of 5 stars You Need To Check That The Cover Is Big Enough For Your Case. Offers Some Protection From Rain.
I have been looking for something like this for a while. The Luggage Cover arrives in a Compressed Plastic Bag. It is Folded four times in one direction. Unfold. And Unfold again. It looks surprisingly small. But let’s try it on a few suitcases.I am surprised to find it fully covers my medium sized case but this case is plastic and does not need it. There are plastic straps on either side of the cover which must be uncoiled before use, and then you can join the Velcro ends together. The Bottom of the case is still exposed apart from where the plastic straps cover it in the middle..I will try it on a suitcase that does need a cover. I try it on a small old cloth based case which is not water proof and this cover is far too big for it.I then try it on another ancient cloth based case which is much bulker and it does indeed fit over this too. You have to put it on the right way round so that the handles can go through the plastic cover. This case is not waterproof and so needs something like this for when on travels you find it has been left out in the rain for an hour because it suited the company you were travelling which has indeed happened in the past. So, with this product, when it happens the suitcase will at least have some protection from the rain even if it is not 100% water tight.It is big enough 2 to go round the entire case; there is a handle on the bottom of the case which is too small for the plastic strap to be thread through so it must go over it. Again the plastic strap Velcro ends fit together so that the entire case is protected from water apart from where the bottom where it is only covered by the strap or where the large hole for the suitcase handle to pass through. It is certainly an improvement on nothing.
