It has been made in Vermont since 1899 and they’ve just started selling in the UK I think.I hate things that feel greasy and take forever to soak in, and while this has paraffin and lanolin it doesn’t feel gross on my skin.I think the lanolin is what gives it the odd smell, and I mean it when I say it doesn’t smell like a pretty moisturiser. I don’t mind it personally but if you want something pretty smelling then go for cocoa butter etc.I use it on my feet, put a pair of socks on when I go to bed most nights and it’s keeping the dry skin at bay so far, any excess is rubbed into my cuticles.It can also be used on animals, as I believe that was its first intended use when the company started.Not a paid review at all, but I’ve been using it a little while now and it’s one of the few things that has helped with the callouses on my feet.I got the tiny tin and a little goes a long way too, so it’ll last me a good while.

You only need a small amount,it is quite greasy,but only if you use too much,so you soon get used to the amount.Very good value for money,will last ages.I have to say this stuff is fabulous,the first time I used it the next day my hands were 109% improved,you have to rub it in very well.The only minus point for most would be the "farm" smell of the lanolin...not that it bothers me being a Farmer's daughter,but to some .....but...buy this,bear with it and you will see the results..and quick!

The tub is absolutely tiny, I was quite shocked. Works lovely on the underside of your feet. I also bought it to mix with aloe Vera gel for a nice ‘glisten’ to my legs in the summer- however it smells so bad I won’t be using it for that purpose haha. To me it smells like solidified fat after you’ve roasted a joint of meat, not exactly the summer vibes I envisioned
