This little machine works well. The only down side is the foot pedal is too light in weight so it keeps moving/flipping over. I personally can't take to the permanent 'on' button so foot pedal gives more control. Great machine for beginners or for occasional light use. It hemmed a pair of trousers in no time.

Prompt delivery, it was very well wrapped without damage to the original box (if you're anything like me, I need it in good condition to reuse for storage when not using the machine).Light-weight, and has a handle designed into the top of the sewing machine avoiding slippage from hands during transport/ positioning. Comes with rubber padding to keep it in place on the table/ surface used. It is fairly well stocked with threads of various colours to start off most beginners.Comes with instruction booklet in black and white, difficult to make out the images accompanying instructions, but manufacturer must be aware of issues, they have inserted additional instructions in colour to illustrate better.I have not had the chance to review the accompanying disc with instructions.

What a brilliant little machine, ideal for the beginner's just starting out. The only thing I would like to ask is:In the reviews and operation manual it states that you can use this machine to take up "Jeans" and to usea certain needle, however the needles that are supplied in the kit do not give their numbers so I would askHow do you know which needle to use?

I bought this for a young friend new to sewing. It was very easy to use. I particularly liked the fact that you could control the speed (which can frighten those new to sewing) by using the button rather than a foot pedal. And it left both hands free for guidance. I would highly recommend it
