Well made but on the small side which is to be expected.This is not a kit a survivalist or prepper would want to primarily rely on but is a great backup kit to have around if your main kit is not on hand.I leave this in my travel pack for when I go on hikes, not needed to use anything yet but great to have just in case.My concern is that due to the size the tools may not last long but definitely long enough to get you out of a pinch.

On the whole not bad, some repeated items (plenty of spark strikers!) and lots of plasters. The rest of the items are pretty good in terms of they do what they should, not of the highest quality materials but for the price I can't grumble and would certainly be glad to have it should the need arise. The strikers work well as do the knife, shovel and multi tool, compasses are basically useless though and have a tendency to stick. I haven't had an opportunity to use the fishing gear but it seems sturdy enough if a little basic. I do intend to get some better quality kit but this will most certainly be in the bottom of my backpack as I have no doubt it would be of value in a survival situation or even just for camping! In a nutshell it's a compact kit of useful items at a price where you won't feel you've wasted your money!
