This arrives, well packaged - with some amazing presentation and packaging. Good enough to deserve its own unboxing video. Everything is bagged and labelled correctly. The included instruction are detailed and easy to follow. All parts are provided and are of good quality. Lots of good building technics shown in the manual.The part of good quality and fit together with little effort. They hold to get well and are amazing. Lots to explore, beyond the included plans. Amazing and a great price.

the good: it works, its compatible with a more popular (and expensive) building brick brand, decent number of parts, bright colours, easy to follow detailed instructions - seriously the book this comes with is huge. main block is USB rechargeable via a supplied leadhowever it is slightly limited because you have two motors, mounted as a single brick integrated with the rechargeable battery, also the controller needs AAA batteries which is a pity (can drive over your phone though). and this basically means its good for "tank tracks" which the five models you get instructions for have where the tracks go backwards and forwards.but thats it, the other parts of the models are static, and those glowing eyes? they are stickers.that said, once you accept you are basically playing with a tracked chassis what you have works, is well made and well presented and would make a good gift for someone who likes building bricks and maybe could experiment further.this is not programmable its just a controller, nothing in the box about using say a bluetooth enabled arduino which is a pity - even just a link to a website with "to go further..." would be good.four stars for what it is, the packaging implies with all the robots it does a bit more than it does, its no "mindstorms" but for what it is its done well

This kit, although well made, was a great disappointment to me, because it had been so poorly thought out from the building point of view. It contains a construction manual showing 5 models, but the plastic bags had no common reference to the five models. Each of the thirteen bags had a reference number T1019 plus a bag number of one to thirteen. There were no instructions as to what model they referred and I had to search through all the bags for the various components in order to continue construction. It was packed lin China, so you can make your own mind up. Obviously opening all the bags means that I cannot return it to Bolo.

This is a versatile and interesting set of robots in the technic ‘Lego’ style. The instructions are clear and suitable for children of 6 years and over. Like all these toys, you can completely disregard the instructions and build whatever you like with them, which is where the real value of this set lies. It is compatible with the big named brand and can be used as a base for building a huge variety of interesting models.The set is well-made with good quality mouldings and the ‘bricks’ fit together well. The motor/battery pack is a single unit so no wires or other complications are needed to get things working. The remove control uses batteries, or you can use the app on your phone to control the motor. The app works well, and it was simple to set everything up.I was a little disappointed that some features in the set are stickers instead of lights, but I understand that this is necessary from a practical point of view.Overall, this is a good value and highly reusable building set.

My grandson is mad about this type of building kit so am keeping this for him for Christmas day to build. It looks like a very comprehensive kit and the instruction book is very clear and nice quality . Love the fact that its motorised too . I think he is going to love this . He is 12 but think it would be ok from about 6 if they used to this sort of thing .

We have previously had Lego Technic sets, and this compares well initially; on first inspection. There is a very comprehensive set of instructions with it; Lego could learn from that-nice and clear, very succinct; in a nice, chunky booklet format, rather than a folded up, flimsy thing.These are not only models-they do move and are remote control.The set is for ages 8 and up-I got it for my other half who is 69- and he absolutely loved it.

This is a near copy of Wall:e from the movie.It is really engaging to build and my son is half way through it. The app control feature works well and it does have a good range of movement.There are 4 different models to build, so you can rebuild it again and again and it's like having a new toy every time.I can really recommend this one, particularly as the instruction are well laid out and clear.
