The battery on the ebike needs completely drained after the first charge and then completely charged to get it to power the bike for as long as the manufacturer advertises. It is also advisable to train the battery by throttling up hill or on power assist level 3. Initially, each steep hill will drain the battery by a bar or more, but if you perservere (over 10 - 12 charges) , the hills will then no longer be a problem for the BMS chip; and the bettery will keep to a good level after doing hills. My nearest town 8 miles away over 3 or 4 steep hills. I had to train the battery for the return journey by using it and discharging 7 or 8 times. I can throttle (and let cruise control take over), on level assist 3 and the bike gets me there in 23 minutes. There and back, the battery level afterwards is still 36.2 volts (which is over 50% charge remaining). The bus takes 20 minutes to get to the same place (3 minutes quicker). No license or road tax or MOT needed and perfectly legal. The bike also has an option to have a max speed of 35 KPH and also to display speed in MPH and milage. Lovely piece of kit and very well built. It has a very sturdy feel and very comfortable to ride. On a mixed terrain setting like mine, the battery will do about 30 miles once it has been run in over a week or so.

Wow my first experience with an e bike. For the price this is a quality product. Good delivery time and setup from the box was straight forward with concise instructions.

Not as powerful as I hoped... And a little bit creaky... But I guess it's good for the money. Keeps a good charge so far and get good milage out of the charge.It's a shame the rear light isn't run for the main battery. It's a fairly basic cheap rear light that requires it's own batteries and manually switching on.Overall reasonably happy for the price. A bit heavy for carrying about folded. But folding OK for storage or getting in the boot of the car. But the folding part wasn't high on my list.I feel like I will likely get a better one in a year or so. But a reasonable entry level bike.I replaced the seat pole with a spring suspension type made the ride a whole lot smoother. I would recommend this .. The small wheels don't buffer the lumps very well at all.

Very good folding ebike easy to put together front mudguard wheel handle bars and seat battery nearly fully charged pumped tyres up using pump which came with the bike. Took it out for a test run Very happy with the performance it's quick getting too 15.5mph.The 3 speed settings 6mph 9mph and 15.5mph. Very happy with bike great seller fast delivery.

Have now lost faith in the bike and finbike. Reply to emails are slow and poor. The bike has not worked properly from day 1. Been sent again a pedal assist sensor and main control unit, which I have to fit at my time and cost. Bike only works properly when battery fully charged and then slowly losses power and have to reset pedal assist.This would be a brilliant bit of kit if it worked. Pedal assist is very poor and doesn't always work. Support is unhelpful and hard work.Waited 6 weeks before reviewing to give it a good testDelivery and installing. Arrived in time, in one box. Packaged very well very secure. Install was very straightforward with only the front mudguard 2 bolts which where very very tight but other than that took 45 minutes. Very impressed with the build quality everything looks and feels quality.Riding. Easy to turn on but at times key can be a bit fiddly. Control panel bright and easy to read and very easy to use.Riding is hit and miss. Using the throttle wow it's just to easy, quick to pick up and maintain speed it's cheating but so easy.Pedal assist is hit and miss, found out the pedal assist sensor had moved and wasn't working properly pushed back into crank and now seems ok. 3 setting and have mainly used the 3rd setting and found once up to speed and peddling it's fine but stop peddling and you feel is stop assisting as it should but at time start peddling and it doesn't work and found quick blast of throttle or turn down to 2nd setting and back to 3 seems to fix it. Not a big problem but slightly annoying.Seat is quite comfy and well paddedIt's heavier than I imagined but small and compact and fits in the boot of the car.There is no mention of water proof but at the battery charger point clearly not waterproof the little cover over the charge point is not the best but bought a pannier that has a water cover I can cover it with that.Reported the peddle assist not working via email to finbike they replied within 24 hours asking for invoice number were and when I bought it name and address 3 days later nothing not impressed did ask if it could be sencor and is there a preferred location setting, still no reply.This would be a 4 poss 5 star review but sensor not working and lack of support have given 2.Will give it another 6 weeks and will update reviewUpdateThis would be a brilliant bit of kit if it works.Finbike eventually responded to emails and sent a pedal assist sensor which I had to replace and buy tools to do this.At first the sensor fixed the fault but after a week same fault but worse.Email response can you video the fault with no one on the bike. Considering the fault is when riding doesn't help.Regret buying this bike fault from the start. Poor support. Lost total faith in this bike and nothing I can do about it.

Arrived before the due date, and was well package, the instruction booklet was clear in how to place the remaining parts to the bike. I liked that I could step over the bike without having to rise my leg much (I am short) I felt safe on the bike as the 16inch wheel was correct for my height. I do think that the bike is a bit heavy for me for lifting in and out of a car, but it is very sturdy, overall I am happy with the bike.
