I bought this milk frother because I wanted to make proper lattes and cappuccinos at home without spending a fortune at the coffee shop. I liked the idea of being able to do both hot and cold foam depending on the drink, and the larger 300ml capacity was a big selling point for me as I usually make two cups at once.Using it has been really straightforward. The buttons are clearly marked and it doesn’t take long to heat or froth the milk. I’ve tried it with both full-fat and semi-skimmed milk, and both came out with a nice creamy froth. The cold foam option is a nice touch too, especially for iced coffees. I’ve used it to froth oat milk as well, and while the foam isn’t quite as thick as with dairy milk, it still works decently.The auto shut-off feature gives a bit of peace of mind if I walk away while it’s running. It’s also pretty quiet which is a bonus when I’m using it early in the morning and trying not to wake anyone up.The only downside I’ve noticed is the cleaning. While it’s non-stick inside, it’s not detachable, so you have to be careful when rinsing it out. I wish the inside part came apart or had a removable whisk to make things easier. If you don’t clean it right after use, the milk tends to stick and can be a bit fiddly to scrub out without getting the base wet.Overall though, it’s a really handy little gadget if you’re into your coffee and want something that works consistently. It’s helped me cut down on takeaway coffees and gives a really nice finish to drinks at home. Just be prepared to give it a quick clean straight away to keep it in good condition.
