Because it includes the tyre inflator it even means it can save space and money by not needing a separate power tool with another battery that keeps needing charging every few months. The starter is so simple to use and because it stores so much power can be used to start pretty much any kind of vehicle with any size engine i think and will probably do lots of starts between charges if that’s ever necessary. Charging the starter itself is just plugging a usb into the mains for a couple of hours, couldn’t be simpler. It also charges pretty much any gadget or device and acts as a power back (or charger) for a phone, tablet, iPad etc.The packaging, a strong sturdy zipped case with separate compartments for the starter and all the accessories, is superb and neatly stores under a car seat or in one of the cubby holes most cars have in the boot and other places.

The device came in a quality box containing the unit, the attachments and a sturdy case. The device is about the size of a hardback book which is great for storage. It charged up to full power within 2 hours, but could have been used straight out of the box (as it had ~75% charge already) - on first try the device jump started a car which had been unused for over 6 months and had a flat battery it pumped up all 4 tyres on the same car from ~75% inflation to full in a matter of minutes (the adapter linking the hose to the unit though did get hot) - the torch light is also very bright, along with strobe and SOS functions too. It also a long-lasting battery and has the capability to charge multiple USB devices. The whole package seems very well-made & professional, and given that it apparently can start virtually any vehicle I fully recommend it!

So living in the UK the weather in the autumn and winter months is cold and damp and car batteries often like to play up in these conditions.I recently had to pick my daughter up from a dance class and sat in the car waiting with the heater and fan on and also the radio on. All of a sudden my radio turns off and so did the fan heater. My battery was flat!! . I turned the key and nothing.Luckily I had this battery jump starter in the boot of the car.I popped the bonnet open and connected the leads up. The great thing about this unit against others is that you can't connect the leads incorrectly. They won't fit in the wrong way.After connection to the battery terminals I waited a minute and the jump starter sent a bolt of power to the battery, I turned the key and the car started.This unit obviously won't fix a battery that needs replacing but it will certainly help you get the battery running.The added extras like a bright led torch help in the dark and the tyre inflator is so simple to use.You even get connections to inflate bike tyres and footballs and basketballs.The unit is well made and comes in a sturdy case so it can be left in the boot or glove box. They also supply a USB C lead so you can charge the unit.The unit will also charge multiple devices and acts as a massive power bank.I have a friend who works for a well known UK breakdown service and over half of the call outs he goes to in the winter are flat batteries, having a device like this could save you a load of time waiting for a callout to get you on your way.

The media could not be loaded. Everything comes in a nice carry case that is sturdy. The unit has a very useful carry handle which is excellent as it is, not surprisingly given the significant battery capacity, relatively large. I first used it to jump start my old quad bike with a failing battery. My video shows this with, initially, just clicking noises happening as I pressed the starter. After connecting the leads to the battery it started very readily. Initially I connected the jump leads before connecting to the power pack - I was conscious that 4000 amps shorted between the leads could be "interesting". It didn't like that so I followed the instruction book and all was fine.Next I inflated a couple of tyres. There are 5 different modes with different pressure ranges. I used the "basketball" mode having a range of 4 to 16 psi. Just right for these low pressure tyres. Having the ability to set a cut-off pressure is very useful as one can leave the unit working and do something else. The first tyre was quite low pressure and I was pleased at how quickly it inflated to the target pressure of 5 psi. However, it continued but soon stopped at 8 psi. The second tyre was very flat and was soon inflated, stopping correctly at 5 psi. The other two tyres were checked with the unit and were correct at 5 psi - difficult to differentiate from the target pressure but obviously correct. After jump starting the bike and inflating two tyres the battery level indicator hadn't dropped at all. Excellent!The torch gives a reasonable diffuse light which should last for ages given the battery capacity. It also has a strobe mode and an SOS mode.Charging phones etc from the two USB ports, one being a fast charge port, is very simple although the flap gets in the way somewhat. Again, the battery capacity should provide plenty of recharges.Not listed, but included in the kit, is a 12 volt cigarette lighter socket, powered from the jump-start port. Very useful for those accessories that plug into your car and that can now be run remotely - a travel fridge for example.My only slight criticism is that the central selector buttons are not easy to read in poor light. There are six different buttons around the central power button providing access to all the different functions and modes. Not easy to fit in all that functionallity. Another interesting quirk I noticed is that this Beta06 unit has a 4000 Amp battery and the Beta04 unit has a 6000 Amp battery. Not that it makes any difference to a great gadget.
