This probably has the best technology available - cleans very thoroughly without risking damage to gums. More expensive versions probably only add unnecessary bells and whistles. The one - extremely annoying - drawback is that it comes without a charger to plug into the mains. Instead it comes with a USB charger. So convenient isn't it to plug your toothbrush into your computer where you always clean your teeth??!! All the more annoying because they try to justify it on grounds of avoiding electronic waste. I still give it five stars because this is way ahead of the competition as a toothbrush, if not for sanity or convenience.

It's a very nicely made unit, feeling premium and good in the hand.I cannot fathom why the charging base is not USB in 2024. It should really have a detachable USB-C base so you can charge it with a power bank or basically anywhere you want.Battery life is predicably average as with all electric toothbrushes again something that really shouldn't be an issue today.The head is quite large an if you are coming from an oral-b may seem strange and it's weird pulsing sonar thing it does to clean takes some getting used to. I think mentally I FEEL like the other one with it's moving head does more to clean than this one but I can't prove that either way.It's got some smart connected head on this thing which I personally hate. I don't need my toothbrush to be smart, Bluetooth enabled AI capable robot brush. I just need it to do a good job cleaning my teeth and not be a pain to live with.I'm not a massive fan of this design or the nonsense they have added to it but overall it is a good toothbrush,

I’ve been using an electric toothbrush now for about 20 years and they’ve vastly improved now from those early days. I’ve been using the Philips Sonicare 5000 for several weeks and I’m very impressed. It’s probably too early to say whether the whitening effect is working but my teeth certainly feel cleaner and my gums too. My only criticism would be that it’s rather noisy, but apart from that I’m very happy with its ease of use and results.

A decent enough toothbrush that claims greater plaque removal and whitening abilities. It does a decent enough job as does my own well-known brand name electric toothbrush at a much lower costing, but frankly I haven't noticed any difference in plaquelessness or whiteness. It is a sleek design and the vibrations much less vigorous but more intense than I'm used to. There’s no doubt it is very effective in its main job of cleaning teeth. Having said that, £200 for a toothbrush? There’s any number of similar ones that can be bought for far less and with the same features. What is provided for that amount is one electric toothbrush , one brush head and a charging base. If you’re going to take this on trips with you then best keep the box with its Styrofoam moulding as you don’t get a storage case or for that matter a spare brush head (costing around £5). Overall , as a toothbrush this does meet the requirements, but it’s let down on value for money.

Leider ist die 1. nach kurzer Zeit der Nutzung kaputt gegangen: der Stift zum aufstecken der Zahnbürste hat sich gelockert und wurde anstandslos ersetzt.Nach nun etwas mehr als 2 Jahren Nutzung ist er wieder kaputt gegangen, natürlich nach Ende der Garantie. Eine Chance geben ich der Zahnbürste noch, das Teil soll wohl kaputt gehen?!

Handstück hat bei Lieferung extrem streng gerochen! Musste es mit Wasser und Seife ordentlich waschen, seitdem geht es.Hatte zuletzt eine Sonicare 3100, da hat der Akku 10 Tage gehalten. Bei dieser hält er immerhin um die 14 Tage.

Gute elektrische Zahnbürste
Es muss nicht das teure Produkt von Phillips sein. Dieses Modell tut sehr gut ihren Dienst. Kaufe ein neues immer nach Jahren. Aber würde noch Jahren immer noch problemlos funktionieren
