This set feels solid with a nice wooden finish and the magnetic pieces stay put even if the board gets nudged. It folds up neatly with storage inside so nothing goes missing, and having extra queens is a bonus. The size is big enough to play comfortably but still easy to pack away. The only thing is the latch feels a bit loose, so I handle it gently when carrying around. Great for kids learning or for casual games on the go.

For the price, I wasn't expecting much. But I was pleasantly surprised by its quality. The surface of the board and chess pieces is very smooth. The locks and hinges are sturdy and hold well. Each piece has a separate storage slot, and the pieces fit securely in the board, making it perfect for taking on the go without worrying about losing them. Another thing the seller has done well is that the bottom of each piece has magnets and is covered with velvet felt, which keeps the pieces stable on the board and ensures that they don't scratch the board as they slide around. This 2-in-1 chess and checkers set is sure to please you.

This is a nice set, and there is also a storage slot inside the chessboard. The chess pieces are also very attractive. Moreover, even if the board is tilted, the strength of the magnet is sufficient to prevent the fragments from sliding off the board. Although checkers pieces have no magnetism, this is not a big problem. Our family plays board games every week, and this chess set has become a new favorite! Kids like checkers while adults prefer chess. This set serves two purposes and is suitable for the whole family to play. It is also very convenient to store and doesn't take up much space when folded. I have already recommended it to my friends!
