5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome. A budget option that doesn't feel so budget.
This product is amazing value for the money. I expected to make compromises as I was going for this more budget option, but so far, after using it every day for a week no such compromises have been made. I'll go over some key points:Opening the box -Securely packaged with everything protected. You get a stand which can be adjusted to several heights, which is useful and much better than one that's at a fixed height. You also get all the cables you need to connect the product up to your device. These cables are thick and robust, and I can see them holding up after years of use. You also get a quick start instruction manual, and a more indepth guide is available on the website. The last things you get is the pen, pen holder which opens up and contains the nibs, and a smudge guard glove. I will talk about the pen in its own separate part. But the pen holder is really handy, and I really appreciate the nibs being stored in there, as I have been known to lose my extra pen nibs. The smudge guard glove is comfortable and helps with your flow over the screen.Setup -The setup process was quick and easy and I was able to use the tablet within 20 minutes of receiving it. You first have to install huions driver specific for the Kamvas 13 from their website. The driver is nice, and has some tablet settings you can mess with, including press key customisation. It has worked without issue straight away with clip studio paint. Medibang was good too, but for some reason only the zoom out press key works for me, not the zoom in? Was a little strange. But given it works fine in clip studio I'm going to guess it's an issue in medibang. Overall though, setup was no issue even for a scatterbrain like me, so you will be drawing in no time. The tablet itself -The tablet is plastic, but not a horrible cheap feeling plastic, it's got a nicer finish, which is surprising for a budget option, but not an unwelcome surprise. I got it in purple, which is nice, undertated yet still sleek. The buttons are tight, clicky and responsive, I really like how they feel. And the tablet runs well, and doesn't overheat, at least not as I've found. The display is nice, bright enough but not blinding, the only thing I will say is the colour on my laptop screen vs the Kamvas screen was noticeably different, but I managed to pretty much entirely alivate this by playing with the settings. The anti glare sheet on the display gives it a nice, smooth almost papery feel. It gives friction so you're not sliding all over the place when you're using it, but it doesn't resist too much and stop your flow. It also means light doesn't refect horribly no matter the angle. The screen is responsive, and you don't have to press too hard to get results, the pressure sensitivity is just as responsive. Good stuff. The pen -The pen is super comfortable, and, like the tablet, looks really sleek. The end is nicely tapered, but offers a good weight balance and doesn't feel too light. The end where you would naturally hold has a firm but comfortable, grippy and soft to the touch rubber finish, so it doesn't hurt to hold and your fingers aren't slipping all over the place. After coming from a more square pen from my previous tablet, I have to say this is a breath of fresh air and super comfy. Can you make good art with it? -Given I've absolutely raved about it so far, I'm sure it's obvious, but yes. Yes you can. I really feel like my art has improved since starting using it this week, just because it feels so natural and comfortable to use than my previous tablet. A much needed upgrade from my old tablet.Overall, awesome. A budget option that just doesn't feel as budget as I thought it would. I've honestly really enjoyed using it and can see years of happy use. So much value for money.
5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent tablet for the price
I have been using this tablet for a little over a month, for maybe 20 hours so far. This is an exceedingly capable graphics tablet for the price. I bought this to replace a Cintiq 13HD from 2013 but was starting to fail. I paid more than twice the price for that Cintiq than I did for this tablet, and I am very pleased with it. I don't think you could find better for the money. The screen is vibrant and clear, with a good pixel density. There is some discolouration of the pixels when you press hard against it, but I am not sure if it would be possible to eliminate this, and I probably shouldn't push that hard anyway. It does not in any way impede the drawing process. The surface is smooth and good to draw on. There is just enough roughness to prevent you sliding off. The gap between the glass and the pixels is very small, probably only a mm or so, and so the paralax feels very slight. It is a night and day contrast with my old Cintiqs. The pen feels cheaper and lighter than the Cintiq, less solidly constructed, but seems to do its job just as capably. It lacks the eraser point on the opposite end, but this is not a necessary input, only convenient. It has two buttons for your index finger, I have them set to right click and middle click but can be assigned to any function. When it comes to the movement of the nib under pressure it feels similarly to a standard cintiq pen nib, but it lacks the different nib styles that can be put into a cintiq (eg felt tip feel nibs). Despite its cheaper and lighter feel I still feel confident in its use and it serves its purpose well. The tablet has six additional buttons and a slider. These are fewer than the old cintiq had, but more than newer cintiqs. They are convenient for common modifier keys (eg shift) and function (eg ctrl+z) but I have to use a keyboard or another accessory to use all the functions I used to have mapped to my Cintiq (which I think had 14 buttons). The slider can be set to zoom in or out, or change the brush size, or a third setting I never use and have thus forgotten about. The driver software is easy to use but has slightly fewer features than the Cintiq software. Nonetheless with a bit of tweaking I got the pressure sensitivity where I like it and calibrated it so that there is almost no distance between pen nib and pixels. The output of the pen is fluid and without jitter, creating the exact same quality of line as my old cintiq did. I have absolutely no complaint about how it performs. When tilting at an extreme angle the pen the cursor can move away from the nib point. I believe this is part of how it measures tilt. For me the cursor always returns to the nib point when I bring the pen back upright. I have never had it deviate away from my intended path while drawing. This unit does not come with a stand (some varients do), but should fit into any laptop or tablet stand easily enough. My only complaint is that it lacks vesa mounting holes which would allow me to easily mount it on an arm. As it is, I bought a vesa mounting laptop stand and put the tablet on that. Huion also sells their own stand which would probably do the job just as well.In operation the tablet remains cool to the touch all over, but does build up some body heat where a hand rests on it for a while. It does not otherwise get hot. I am red-gren colour blind and so not particularly good at colour accuracy and I am told by others on the internet that these often require colour calibration, but they are accurate once calibrated. To my eye it looks excellent however, better than many screens I have used and as good as my Dell Ultrafine. While I commented on the cheap and light feel of the pen the tablet itself has a good sturdy feel, similar to an ipad or a well made laptop. There is no feeling of give or flex on the surface and yet it is also light enough to hold in one hand for a while if that is your desire. You could hold it and draw in your lap provided you kept an eye on your cables. In terms of cables this tablet plugs into what I consider the standard, USB, HDMI and power, feeding into a USB-C connector on the tablet. The USB-C plug is very deep and I doubt you would get a standard USB C cable in there, but you shouldn't ever need to use non-Huion cables so I don't think that is a problem. The power brick feels a little cheap and flimsy, and the cable is thin, but I don't think it is drawing much power so I doubt it is a problem. However I don't think it would hold up to being tripped over very often.I plug the USB and HDMI connections into a USB-C hub to connect it to my laptop and this works fine, no problems, so it should be fine if your laptop lacks a traditional HDMI and/or USB port. I find it best to set the display as your main monitor in Windows. To conclude I don't think you could buy better for the money. The next better is the Cintiq 16 pro at almost twice the price. If I had the money I'd buy another cintiq for the premium build quality. But I don't have the money, and this tablet has almost no downsides to it. The quality of the output is without question superb, it does exactly what it sets out to do.If I had a wish list: I wish the pen felt a bit heavier and more solid, I wish it could take power from USB-C (ie be a one cable device), and I wish it had VESA mounting points. That's a very small list of wants, when all is said and done. Keep an eye out for sales and vouchers, I got mine for £100 off, which made a good price into an absolute steal.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great little tablet...
Bought this for my 13yr old daughter...she's been drawing for a couple of years and wants to experiment with 'Digital Art'.This tablet works right out of the box and is very easy to setup. The tablet came with 10 spare stylus nibs, a drawing glove, an adjustable stand and an array of good quality cables. The pressure sensitivity and accuracy is very good, and you can create very clean lines with virtually no 'blobbing'. The customizable buttons are also a great feature and allow for quick access to the most used features of your chosen drawing software. All in all a very good, affordable option for any budding digital artist...Very happy with it!I only have 1 small gripe... There was a large sticker placed in the top left corner of the table screen (within the active drawing area), obviously this needed to be peeled off before using the tablet, but the sticky adhesive residue left from doing so has proven nearly impossible to remove completely, bit of a pain!
Contento
HUION KAMVAS PRO 13 Display a Penna qualità prezzo

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome. A budget option that doesn't feel so budget.
This product is amazing value for the money. I expected to make compromises as I was going for this more budget option, but so far, after using it every day for a week no such compromises have been made. I'll go over some key points:Opening the box -Securely packaged with everything protected.
HUION KAMVAS PRO 13 Display a Penna qualità prezzo
