It includes a microphone., but the mic isn't very good, you have to speak loudly or hold it close to your mouth for it to pick up sound.Kids can record and replay their voice, and there are many different sound effects to play with.It also has Bluetooth functionality, allowing you to connect your phone to play music. Just press and hold the Bluetooth button, after hearing a beep sound then search on your phone you should see “HDL-DJ” as the device name. The sound quality isn’t great, but that’s expected for a toy.There are built-in kids’ melodies. To play them, press the button with two lines connecting three dots (not sure why it's labeled that way), then use the launchpad to switch between melodies.Pressing the hammer button activates a whack-a-mole mode, where you tap the launchpad lights as they appear.The video on the product page was very helpful, it shows all the functions and buttons, I'd recommend viewing it before buying. It is very easy to use after watching the videoConsidering the features, quality and price ($37.99), I give it 4.4 stars, rounds to 4.

Good button mashing noise machine, but check your expectations

To the point, the power connector on the back came misaligned, so it was almost bricked from the start but with a little work I was able to get it to charge.I suggest assuming this is like any other sound machine toy that's meant for general noise rather than music. It doesn't work well to make your own beat with the buttons as there is a little lag between each and they override each other. There are a few fun modes where you can play with a premade beat and adjust it. The record deck doesn't work like you'd assume. If you move it it restarts a song. Move it again to "scratch" and it just restarts the song. It doesn't integrate with the other beats.Overall the products alright. I'd suggest this for kids under 5, as this device is more for button mashing and older kids than 5 might want more from it.

A Cool Audio/Visual Learning Tool for Young Ones!

The media could not be loaded. Well, this caught my eye when I was looking for something for my special needs nephew. He will definitely love this toy!It has this DJ setup, and the sounds are just loud enough to stimulate, but not over stimulate. Has the record mixer, a small piano and DJ sound buttons that can be changed with the audio buttons at the bottom of the mixer, changes the buttons to different beats, really cool...It has a microphone that works, still trying to figure that one out. The plug in is on the back left side, along with the charging port, headphone plug and a power indicator light. Each headphone/microphone port is the smaller 3.5mm jack. Has Bluetooth capability, just wasn't sure to what extent it was for. I did not see an app for it, but still looking.Has a plastic plate that attaches to the back to hold a cellphone, I'm sure it has something to do with the Bluetooth, but a mystery what App it uses for the visual part of it...The toy uses a Lithium rechargeable battery, comes with the charge cord and a USB A connector, but no charge block. I could not find any instruction manual for what all the buttons did, so we'll see what they do as time goes on. There are some pointers in the ads for the item though. May just print those out.Overall, I think it's a hit. Currently priced at $39.99, decent price for all it has going on...

This DJ mixer table is a fun and interactive toy for kids, with 8 piano keys, a working microphone, colorful LED lights, and Bluetooth capability. My child enjoys pretending to host music shows and creating sound effects. However, the center box that looks like it’s playing songs is just for decoration—there are no built-in songs. While Bluetooth can be used to play music, I personally prefer toys that come with preloaded tunes for easier use. Still, it’s a creative and engaging toy for kids who enjoy musical play.

Entertaining but needs improvement

This DJ mixer has fun lights and sounds and the Bluetooth feature is a nice bonus. My kid loves pretending to be a DJ! However, the microphone is quiet and the volume settings are limited. It’s not bad for the price but I expected a bit better performance. It’s a fun toy, just not as high quality as it looks.
