The taste is creamy, sweet, and slightly bitter, the dark chocolate contrasting well with the pistachios. The price is probably to be expected given that pistachios have been shelled and then coated in chocolate - though I'd have liked a higher cocoa content (47% is pretty low for dark chocolate) and a lower sugar load. The coating agents E414 and E904 (Acacia gum and shellac) are commonly used to make sweets shine. The pistachios of course are healthy!

Never had chocolate pistachios before so have nothing to compare them too but gosh, these were Lovely, me and my son had to really stop ourselfs from just eating all of them in one go. Very moreish, lovely pistachio flavour a. D a good quality milk chocolate coating which was smooth.The packet did have a reseal on it so they were kept fresh and although they had a good date they lasted just a few days. Lovely taste, good value and good qualityDefo be looking to order more

Pistachio and chocolate - a lovely combo! Unfortunately the chocolate on these pistachios is the same as that on 'chocolate' coated peanuts and raisins - over sweet and almost like a chocolate flavoured candy rather than the real deal.Is there a way of coating a pistachio with a less sweet and shiny product?
