This stuff came to the rescue when our rabbit went a bit off her food and her guts started playing up. I always panic when the little ones stop eating – it’s usually a race against time with small animals. This paste was recommended and I’m glad we gave it a go.It’s got a carrot flavour, which apparently is the bunny equivalent of chocolate cake. She wasn’t exactly diving for it, but with a bit of gentle coaxing and the precise syringe, it went in easily enough – no mess, no drama (which is a miracle with her). You can tell it’s made for small animals – it’s not just repurposed dog stuff with a rabbit on the label.Within a day or two she was nibbling hay again and bouncing around like her usual nosy self. Our little bunny, Flash, enjoys the freedom of roaming the house, but his mischievous nature has led to a few health scares, including a recent hospitalisation that had us fearing the worst (each time, it cost us 2k+). Thankfully, he’s back to his happy, healthy self now, but I wanted to take extra precautions to ensure his digestive health stays in check. This Protum Rabbit Probiotic Paste has been a lifesaver. It comes in a convenient syringe, making it easy to dose, and the carrot flavour is a hit with Flash. The paste supports gut health and helps with digestive balance, which is vital, especially when he occasionally gets a bit constipated after chewing on too much cardboard. It’s definitely a product I’ll always keep on hand.
