Buy if you love exit and know some basics of Catan!
If you understand exit the game series and some basics of Catan, you will enjoy this one. All of the puzzles made sense and were definitely challenging at times but we eventually solved them without help cards. The negative reviews on here are people who don’t know how to play/it was their first exit game.You can’t beat the price compared to an escape game in person and the fun is the same! Took me and my two siblings about 1 hour and 45 minutes. We have done a few before but this one definitely had some creative and new puzzles never seen before! I highly recommend!
Not the best of EXIT games
We played all the EXIT games and they were all excellent. This one is a bit frustrating and also contains a misprint in one riddle.
Escape-Style Catan Adventure for Puzzle Night
I picked up Exit: The Game, Catan: Adventures on Catan for a family puzzle session, and it delivered a challenging cooperative experience. In my photos you can see the box front and back, including the contents list, the decoder disk graphic, and the expert level indicator. The theme feels true to Catan, with resource tokens and map foldouts that link the riddles to exploration and trading. Our group of three finished in about ninety minutes, and the difficulty felt fair, with a couple of clever puzzles that required teamwork. This is a one-time game where you write on and cut pieces, which makes for a focused, story driven night. The optional helper app adds a timer and layered hints without spoiling the fun. If you enjoy Catan and escape room style games, this is a satisfying at-home adventure for 1-4 players.
