If only it was a little big shorter
I would rate this Gua Sha tool five stars if it was a little bit shorter. For a DIY muscle drainage tool, it is difficult to use for my petite-length arms!There is a nice diagram of how to use the tool but it is online and on the back of the packaging; I'll end up cutting off the directions to store with the tool inside the felt storage bag.
Versatile and easy to grip ergonomic hollow steel body massage tool
This is a lovely oversized full body hollow Gua Sha tool with a custom felt pouch. The felt pouch is excellent all by itself - though it’s got a laser etched name on the front corner so I doubt you’ll use it for other purposes. The packaging includes a helpful little reference diagram with lymph node locations which I ended up cutting out to keep inside the pouch as reference cards.As for the tool itself - I think I need some practice, but even as a complete beginner it truly is helpful. I intend to use it for DIY full body drainage massage, but even before I get there, it’s a very easy to hold ergonomic shape that easily reaches my mid-upper back and shoulder region, and it does wonders for a quick tension pressure release. Zero complaints.
Very Sturdy
The stainless steel gua sha is quite large and sturdy. The steel makes it solid, so there's no concerns about it bending during use or coming out of shape with repeated use. It's easy to hold in one hand, though it's going to take some practice to figure out the best techniques. I do wish this had come with more information, but the photos on the outside of the box are somewhat helpful. The storage case is well-made. I also like that you can put this in the freezer for a while for added cold massage (though it doesn't stay cold for very long).
