I received this today and immediately unwrapped it. I grind my teeth in my sleep so have a mouth guard. I brush it carefully every day but it never really feels completely clean, even if I soak it in cleaning tablets, so decided to buy this machine after seeing a different one advertised online. There was a lot of choice and it was a bit overwhelming, but I settled on this one as it felt good value for money and had the functionality that I thought would be right for my use (3 time settings: 5,8 and 10 minutes; and UV or no UV). I also bought some cleaning tablets which were very competitively priced. I put my retainers in for a 10 minute soak, and then an additional 8, the difference is remarkable and I am delighted. When I then placed the mouth guard in my mouth it had no taste. This one is plug in and not rechargeable which means I can’t use it in the bathroom, which I might regret long term but I also appreciate the simplicity. I also gave my rings a quick soak and they also came out shinier so I am delighted. I am sure it will be a useful purchase and I regret not buying one sooner.

I bought this only 3 months ago for my aligners. It has been getting less and less effective over that time. It is now practically useless. It works intermittently and the purple lights no longer work. I have looked after this and kept it in the sane spot so there is no reason for it to stop working other than it is a piece of rubbish.
