Good product, easy to install and connect to apple HomeKit. The response over the wired connection is a lot quicker than our other wireless cameras. The only reason it’s lost a star is that picture quality could be better when compared to some others that are out there, but still a great overall camera

Got the PoE version and used a TP-Link 802.3at/af Gigabit PoE Injector to power it. Avoided the Aqara app and just scanned the Apple Home QR code. It attached to Apple home first time (I use Apple TV 4K as my hub) and easy to set up using the Apple HOME app on Phone or Mac. Night colour vision is superb (although I do have a street light near the front of my house). Setting the trigger region on the Apple app is super easy and notifications to Phone, Watch or Laptop all work well. Videos are stored in iCloud (my account covers a camera and does not count for data usage). Picture in Picture on the Apple TV is good and easy to access with the latest tvOS version. Microphone is super sensitive - discovered I have sparrows living in the roof above where I installed it :-). So far am impressed and happy not to have to sign up to another cloud ecosystem to use it.

Easy to install and enroll (Apple HomeKit), good wide field of view and impressive night-time vision. Have had good experience with the Aqara internal cameras in the past and this new PoE “Pro” outdoor camera is ideal for fixed installation. Expensive but good quality

Ordered this camera to try out as looking for a replacement for our blink cameras that are just not up to par.This is the wired ethernet version and this particular one is used as wildlife camera in our garden. We wanted colour imagery at night and it does an amazing job of that but also it needed to be quick to respond.This was so easy to setup. Connect it to the router via an ethernet cable you'll need to power it via the USB port at this point if you are not using power over ethernet - it doesn't come with a PoE adaptor so you'll need to buy one of these.Install the app and before you do anything you'll have to register an account. Turn on the camera and it will say 'ready for pairing' on it's speaker and simply scan the barcodes. it take maybe 10-20 seconds and your good to go.The app is really good, easy to understand and access all the 'clever' stuff like people, anaimal, vehicle, delivery functions. I haven't used those features yet but will do. After using this I intend to buy the wifi cameras to replace the blink systme that is so slow to react.The camera is so quick to respond when you want a live view etc. Also the image is incredible. The best I've ever seen and the night performance is great. It has an internal SD card to so you don't need a subscription. There is a subscription service offered and that will give you other features, although I don't need iI'd advise you look at that in detail before you buy as the you might it to enable all the features the camera system offers.

The quality of the camera should not be questioned but the manufacturer should know that as part of the package supplied the USBc power cable length of 2 metres not acceptable. This is an outdoor camera which instructions say should be fixed some 2 metres above ground. It is not going to be possible to easily locate a power source 2 metres away from a 2 metre above ground installed camera. I had to purchase another much longer USBc cable to ensure a required connection to a power source.

I ordered wifi version from Aqara website and tbh i am very disappointed because i was for this camera more than 6 months. And you guess what i cannot even record 24/7 only event recording. Whats the point if you put 32gb inside and only event recording. This doesn’t make any sense.Btw camera quality is good. The picture is night time very nice but again i had to send it back because my £50 aliexpress sd card camera is better🤯😤Also my aqara g4 can record 24/7 since 2 this why this cannot i dont get it.Note if you get it from aqara 32gb otherwise 8gb

I've been really focused on keeping my home secure, especially with kids and pets running around all over the place! Recently, I've been testing out this camera, and I must say, it's been quite the rollercoaster experience.The picture quality is brilliant, particularly in well-lit conditions. The coloured night vision isn't just a fancy extra - it genuinely helps maintain clarity in darker settings without that annoying infrared distortion you usually get. Using PoE for power is brilliant as it means you can avoid all the faff with Wi-Fi connections. It works like a charm with the HomeKit app too.There is a bit of a snag though. The camera has one major limitation - it can't record footage, despite having built-in storage, which seems rather daft if you ask me. If you're keen on monitoring capabilities, you'll need to faff about with RTSP and extra equipment, which can be a right pain in the neck. While it's solidly built and fairly straightforward to install, sorting out the Ethernet cables on the outside of your house might require you to roll up your sleeves.For those already using Aqara products at home or work, you'll find it fits in nicely. It serves as a decent central point for all your smart bits and bobs, with some nice little extras thrown in for good measure.

Eine wirklich tolle Kamera. Sehr gut verarbeitet und hochwertige Haptik. Hatte zuerst eine Reolink CX820 bestellt. Da sie von der mechanischen Einstellung des Objektives aber sehr eingeschränkt war, habe ich diese zurück geschickt und die Aqara bestellt. Diese lässt sich mit dem ausgeklügelten Ständer in beinahe jede Stellung bringen.Ich habe die Aqara G5 Pro zuerst in Aqara Home und dann mit Matter in Home Assistant eingebunden. Alles sehr einfach.Die Kamera selbst hat eine geniale Auflösung und eine absolut Spitzendarstellung bei schwachem Licht bzw. Dunkelheit. Ich kenne nichts vergleichbares.

Extraordinary camera

The image quality is out of his world. The night vision in color is amazing and works well with just a bit of ambient light. I am using the PoE version with a regular gigabit Ethernet + an external 2A USB power supply plugged in and oh boy, this is the fastest camera I have ever own. Gone are the WiFi lost connection problems, slowdowns and lags. And the cherry on top, it works extraordinary well as a HomeKit Secure Video camera. The only problem with this camera is that it can only record events, there is no way to record 24/7.

Bellissimo prodotto finalmente una videocamera Poe compatibile con HomeKit di apple e Secure video.Unica pecca ci sono 2-3 funzioni come il tempo di rilevamento dei movimenti che se si vuole meno di 3 minuti chiede un abbonamento a pagamento...ma credo anche si possa bypassare entro breve.bella, flessibile e con immagini bellissime, bastano pochissimi lux per avere immagini nitide anche di notte.non vedo l'ora di vederle montate su esterno

Erg blij met deze nieuwe camera hub van Aqara. Enige verbeterpunt zou een iets sterkere floodlight bundle moeten zijn, hoewel de kleurennachtzicht al prima is.

玄関先に設置しました。昼間は勿論、夜間もとても綺麗に映ります。検知感度も申し分無く、防犯用にはとても良いとおもいます。poe 接続は初めてでしたが、wifi よりも確実でこちらを購入して良かったです。同社のドアベルg4も使用していますが、こちらにも是非、poe 接続の製品を出してもらいたいと思います。
