I'm always dubious with buying out of brand parts for branded equipment as I've burnt in the past with substandard parts and connections to other parts being poor. But I'm pleasantly surprised with the both quality and connection - taken a quick hover and no quality loss.

The media could not be loaded. Got this for my v7 as a fresh replacement.This replacement head is an ideal replacement for the official head. It’s slightly bigger (see pics) and I think that some of this bulk comes from an additional rubber strip that sits before the rollers. What this seems to do is make it useful for vacuuming hard floors, which is something that I can’t do with my current head as it just pushes stuff around.This head works exactly as you would expect and pics up the majority of dirt without an issue. It doesn’t seem to grip the carpet as much as my old head and I think this might be because of the additional rubber strip. Doesn’t seem to be a major issue and it still picks up the dirt, just worth mentioning as I can definitely tell a difference. As I mentioned though, the plus side of this is I can easily vacuum hard floors without changing heads.Overall, this is a premium replacement Dyson head. It’s easy to fit and works exactly how you would expect. It doesn’t seem to grip the carpet quite as tightly as the official head but has the extra ability to easily clean hard floor, so I can go straight from my living room into the kitchen without any faffing about.

I am reviewing Quick-Release Motorhead Cleaner for Dyson V7 V8 V10 V11 V15 Vacuum Cleaner Head SV10 SV11 SV12 SV14 Replacement Part Electric Head for Hardwood Floor Carpets Replacement Part 967483-04I've unpacked this and checked it over, it seems good quality. I have a Dyson V6 and have been offered a few things for my V6, so when this was a recommended product for me (and you don't get long to order things) I thought great. But when it arrived I discovered it won't fit my Dyson. I'm very disappointed as I can't test it or use it and now need to find it a good home.

What a great product. The Dyson hasn’t been picking up as well as it should have for some time. When the main attachment was broken beyond repair I replaced it with one of these. The improvement in performance is amazing. It’s like having a completely new Dyson.
