The Krunia 9.26" portable CarPlay screen is one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my car without having to rip out the dashboard.Setup was super easy — just plug it in and go. It connected to my iPhone wirelessly with no issues, and Apple CarPlay runs really smoothly. No lag, no weird disconnections. The screen is sharp and bright, even in daylight, and the touchscreen is very responsive.What really surprised me was the backup camera — the image is clear and it works great even at night. Didn’t think I’d use it much, but now I rely on it every time I park.Also love that I can control everything with my voice through Siri, so I don’t have to mess around with the screen while driving.If you’re looking for an easy way to add modern features to an older car, I’d definitely recommend this. Great value for the money and genuinely useful.

I picked up the Krunia 9.26” CarPlay device recently and honestly, for a third-party screen, I’ve been pretty impressed. Setup was super quick – literally just mounted it, plugged it in, and the phone connection handled itself. No clunky pairing process, just smooth and automatic.The display itself is clear and holds up well even in direct sunlight, which is a nice surprise. It’s not the absolute brightest screen out there, but it's definitely good enough for everyday driving, even on sunny days. The UI is responsive and everything looks clean on it – no lagging or weird glitches.Sound-wise, the built-in speaker isn’t amazing, but that’s expected. The real move is connecting your phone’s audio through the car speakers – once that’s done, everything sounds normal, like any OEM setup.One thing I really liked was how slim the power and aux cables are. They’re easy to tuck behind the interior trim, so I was able to get a clean, nearly wire-free look without needing to take apart the dashboard.It’s not a high-end factory screen, but for what it is – it does a great job. Clean install, easy to use, and no major compromises.

There are a lot of these car play screens about and many look the same but the prices can differ by a fair bit. I opted for the Krunia as it was a bit more expensive than the others but had favourable reviews. I'm glad I did. The packaging and contents all look to be very high quality, down to the 3M mounting pads for two included screen stands (one attaches to the window, the other on top fo you dash). It actually has a proper instruction book as well which is also a bonus and everything you need for installation, including a car trim tool (nice touch). This kit also comes with a reversing camera which is a breeze to fit and comes with plenty of cable (plenty long enough) which plugs into the screen unit via a mini jack. There's another single red wire coming out of the camera end which apparently attaches to your reverse light and makes the reversing dispaly come on automatically when you reverse, but this is optional - the reverse display still comes on with this unattached but you have to press a button on the touch screen to activate it. No big deal. However, one thing to note is that if you do not attach the red wire you DO NOT get the reversing lines come up on the screen. I had to query this with Krunia to find this out. I guess its some kind of legal requirement. The screen itself feels well made and reassuringly heavy. The display is plenty bright enough and the screen is responsive and connects instantly to you phone's bluetooth a you can get in the car most of the time. A nice touch is that you can get the sound to output as an FM frequency of your choice, so if you dont have an auxillary socket (like my car) yo ucan channel the sound through the car radio - just tune in a preset to the same frequency. All in all, very pleased with my purchase.

Happy to give 5 stars, with just a couple of niggles!Unit came well boxed, in perfect condition and easy to identify parts. It comes with a multi-lingual instruction booklet which I started to read - not a smart move, better just plug it in and go as it's pretty intuitive.I had a bit of a problem with the sticky/suction fitting bracket - it didn't work on the top of my non-smooth dashboard so I stuck it on the windscreen and it sits very well. Screen is a good size and works well in the way you would expect.I like the full and half-screen options, sound via the FM radio is very good, picture is clear, touch screen is sensitive, Siri works well and once you've figured how to to get from A to B and back again , all is straightforward. I've only had it 24hrs and overall very pleased, my main disappointment is that the phone clarity is not great but I've only tried it once.I haven't bothered with the rear view camera and it would benefit from a forward facing camera.

I couldn’t be more impressed with the Krunia 9.26” CarPlay screen! From the moment I installed it, my driving experience has completely transformed. The display is crisp, bright, and responsive—perfect for both day and night driving. The setup was straightforward, even for someone like me who isn’t super tech-savvy.What really sets this unit apart is how seamlessly it connects to both Apple CarPlay. Whether I’m using navigation, streaming music, or taking calls, everything works flawlessly and with virtually zero lag. (function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Volevo fare un upgrade e mettere un navigatore ed un sistema multimediale su una Audi di 15 anni fa priva di sistema Infotainment.Per come era fatta la plancia, l'unico posto possibile era davanti alle bocchette di aerazione centrali ma serviva un dispositivo che fosse stretto e lungo, per non interferire con la visione degli strumenti e con la manipolazione dei comandi, per cui un tablet era escluso.Allora ho scoperto questa tipologia di interfaccia che sembrava fatta apposta per il mio caso e ho voluto provare.La confezione è completa di numerosi accessori per il fissaggio e una telecamera posteriore ma io non ho utilizzato nulla perché interessato solo al dispositivo.Il fissaggio è stato piuttosto laborioso perché è decisamente più pesante di uno smartphone o un tablet di piccole dimensioni, per cui ho provveduto a tenerlo in posizione con due magneti ed una base costruita alla bisogna, che si inserissero nelle bocchette di aerazione distribuendo il peso per non danneggiarle.L'articolo non dispone di batteria interna, per cui si accende solo quando alimentato e si spegne appena l'alimentazione viene a mancare; il grosso adattatore per la presa accendisigari che termina con una USB-C dispone di un cavo molto lungo: per fortuna nel mio caso la presa era vicinissima.È importante verificare che la presa accendisigari non sia alimentata a macchina spenta, altrimenti si scaricherebbe la batteria.Il device si presenta più spesso di un tablet ma non troppo, e con il retro di forma regolare, così da poterci convenientemente applicare gli attacchi in metallo per i magneti sulle bocchette.L'accensione è istantanea appena si gira la chiave e l'avviamento dei servizi abbastanza rapido e accompagnato da un jingle armonioso.Lo schermo è in vetro resistente; molto sensibile alle ditate e però sufficientemente definito e luminoso, con una predominante tonalità azzurra e dal touch reattivo.Il sistema è invece un po' lento nell' elaborare i comandi ma la tempistica è accettabile e non è frustrante.Nonostante sia presente un corposo libretto multilingue con istruzioni anche in italiano, questo contiene solo informazioni basiche e non va molto in profondità nelle spiegazioni.Per me che non avevo ben chiaro quale fosse il principio di funzionamento del dispositivo, la sua configurazione non è stata semplicissima. Questo soprattutto per un motivo relativo al tipo specifico di autoradio, che prevede una presa AUX lontana dalla plancia e nascosta nel bracciolo, così da rendere complesso ed antiestetico il collegamento con jack; allora ho risolto mettendo nello scomparto un ricevitore bluetooth collegato allo smartphone e scegliendo nel car player/android auto la modalità bluetooth come modalità di riproduzione sonora: una soluzione laboriosa ma resa necessaria a causa di un' autoradio datata e non sostituibile. Unico neo, irrisolvibile: così facendo riesco a comandare con la voce la navigazione e la riproduzione musicale ma non le telefonate, che per qualche oscura ragione mantengono l'audio sul telefono.Il dispositivo dispone di due piccole casse sul retro che ovviamente suonano come una radiolina degli anni settanta ma comunque ci sono e si sentono bene, se uno non volesse disporre delle due uscite audio bluetooth e AUX.A proposito: nell' elenco app del dispositivo come app di riproduzione musicale è presente solo YouTube Music e per mettere Spotify ho dovuto smanettare un po' sullo smartphone abilitando una voce particolare che autorizzava la riproduzione di terze parti (soluzione trovata su Reddit).Dopo un bel po' di lavoro per fissare e configurare il device, posso dire che è promosso.Non ha né la definizione né le potenzialità di un buon tablet ma svolge onestamente il suo lavoro, fungendo in pratica da "specchio interattivo" dello smartphone: è come se si usasse il proprio telefono ma con uno schermo più grande, basta solo tenere acceso il bluetooth e la posizione. Il microfono interno è sensibile e non occorre urlare. Così con la voce o immettendo manualmente un indirizzo si può chiedere di essere condotti in una determinata località e immediatamente viene creato un percorso e si avvia la navigazione, mentre a lato della mappa in un riquadro viene visualizzato Spotify, con il quale si può alla stessa maniera interagire con comandi vocali o toccando lo schermo. E indicazioni e musica verranno riprodotte dall' autoradio; nel mio caso, mantenendo la possibilità di alzare o abbassare il volume da una rotella sul volante.In più, c'è la possibilità di inserire una microSD per ascoltare musica registrata: io ne utilizzo una da 32 giga e funziona perfettamente.Per un centinaio di euro (scontato), un ottimo acquisto.Sono molto soddisfatto.Opzione extra: scrivendo alla ditta per farsi mandare un' immagine del logo della propria vettura correttamente dimensionato, scaricando l'applicazione proprietaria si può personalizzare l'immagine che compare all' accensione del dispositivo con il logo della propria auto. Operazione semplicissima ed apparentemente gratuita per un periodo limitato.La ditta risponde con celerità, competenza e cortesia.

Facile à installer et à configurer.Produit aisément installable sur le tableau de bord (la ventouse tient très bien - je n'ai pas testé sur le parebrise mais ce n'est pas l'endroit où je veux fixer la ventouse). L'une des raisons de mon choix a été la possibilité de retirer le dispositif sans avoir à retirer la ventouse ; de plus, le dispositif est très léger et ne pèse pas sur le bras.La configuration est aisée et ne prend que 5 à 10 secondes au plus et comptez encore 10 secondes pour la connexion au téléphone ; le manuel est bien fait. Le reste se fait via le smartphone (un coup à prendre pour l'utilisation de l'application surtout la première fois).L'écran est bien lumineux et le tactile très réactif (je n'ai pas constaté de latence).Seul point négatif : la configuration s’efface au bout de quelques jours sans utilisation. Apple devrait trouver un moyen d’enregistrer la configuration dans le téléphone.Bref : Tablette recommandée.

Awesome CarPlay/AndroidAuto screen for a great price

I’ve used a few different CarPlay screens at this point and this one is my favorite so far. The touchscreen is responsive and crisp. Build quality seems rather premium as it has some weight to it. Maps is quick to sync from phone to the screen. Unit starts up quick also. Mounting brackets seem to be of good quality as well. I have mine connected to the Bluetooth of my stock radio (2015 Toyota Venza) and it works perfectly.One thing I like about this model is the connections aren’t directly on the side of the unit so it’s much easier to hide the wires. Other models have the connection right on the side of the screen so no matter what you see the power wire sticking out of it the same way you would when your charger is connected to your phone in landscape mode. This is a small detail I really appreciate since I’m a bit OCD with wire management.This is also my first experience with the longer/wider screen. The others I have are the traditional 8” tablet shape. Over the last couple days I realized I really like the thinner/wider screen over the more square shape. Especially since it’s around 10”. There is plenty of screen real estate and it takes up less of your driving view than the traditional tablet shape.Assuming this unit stands the test of time, this is a solid buy and I definitely recommend it. Very happy with it so far.

I have been looking for a similar product for a very long time because I needed a navigation system, i.e. maps, and especially a reversing camera for my van, because my van is 5.5 metres long and has no camera from the manufacturer. I was thinking about different options and came across this product. Today I was to install it in my car. Already when I opened the box in which the product is packed I could see that it was going to be something completely different from what is normally sold, the product packaging is handled perfectly, which of course also matters, because there can be nothing worse than buying a product that arrives damaged, it can't happen here, because the display itself is housed in a protective case made of soft material to prevent damage during transport, the display has its own protective safety film, so it is protected against unwanted scratches, as well as the entire display is still in a special PVC case, so multiple protection. Included in the package is a cable to the car charger , various accessories such as dashboard mounts, mounts, double-sided tape, mini screwdriver, attachment accessories, and of course the reversing camera. I have not yet been able to install and test the reversing camera because although the cable of the reversing camera is long enough, it was very short for my car, so I still have to buy a longer cable in the shop and then I will retrofit the camera and test it.The CarPlay connection itself is very simple and intuitive, once paired with your mobile phone everything is clear and distinct, what you have on your mobile phone you will also have on your display, absolutely everything, your maps, contacts, sms, apps, music, just absolutely everything. So you absolutely won't have to use your phone while driving. The display has its own microphone, so making a phone call via CarPlay is absolutely easy, you can also see your received sms. The display also controls the music you have on your phone, so travelling in the car is a fantastic experience. If you plug in the reversing camera, you'll be able to see everything behind your car perfectly, so reversing will be safer.The whole installation took a few minutes, and the connection went fine. The colors of the display are perfect, the touch screen is very responsive. It also has its own speaker, but it's probably better to connect it to your own car radio to make use of the built-in speakers in the car, so the sound will be perfect.I have been looking for a similar product for a long time and this one absolutely suits me in every way. I personally absolutely recommend this product!
