These dried cherries are a good flavour and texture and make a lovely snack. However, I do think they are quite expensive. If I bought again I would make sure to buy the 1kg size to be more economical.

Sehr leckere getrocknete Kirschen, sie sind größer als vermutet. Sie schmecken super im Müsli oder auch einfach so zum Snacken. Bin sehr zufrieden:).

Wichtiger Hinweis: Eher saftiges Dörrobst als knusprig trocken – trotzdem 5 Sterne!Zuerst möchte ich eine wichtige Klarstellung voranstellen, denn mein erster Eindruck war ein Fehlkauf – der allerdings meine eigene Schuld war. Ich war auf der Suche nach staubtrockenen Kirschen, die man direkt zermahlen kann. Bei diesem Produkt handelt es sich jedoch um klassisches Dörrobst, also saftigere, weichere Trockenfrüchte mit einer gewissen Restfeuchtigkeit. Wer also brüchige, knusprige Früchte sucht, sollte gezielt nach „gefriergetrockneten“ Kirschen Ausschau halten.Nachdem das geklärt ist: Die Qualität und der Geschmack dieser Kirschen sind absolut hervorragend! Schon pur zum Naschen sind sie so lecker, dass ich mich wirklich zurückhalten musste, nicht gleich die ganze Packung zu leeren.Für alle Chocolatiers und kreativen Köche:Da Feuchtigkeit in Schokolade problematisch ist, habe ich die Kirschen einfach weiterverarbeitet. Ich habe sie in meinem Backofen mit dem Dörrprogramm für weitere acht Stunden nachgetrocknet. Das Ergebnis war fantastisch: Das Aroma wurde noch intensiver und ich konnte die Kirschen anschließend im Hochleistungsmixer zu knusprigen Stückchen und feinem Pulver für meine selbstgemachten Schokoladenkreationen verarbeiten.Ein kleiner Tipp: Beachtet, dass durch das Nachtrocknen das Gewicht schwindet. Von dem ursprünglichen Kilo blieben bei mir noch etwa 700 Gramm übrig. Das zeigt, wie viel natürliche Feuchtigkeit in den Früchten steckt.Fazit:Trotz meines anfänglichen Missverständnisses bin ich von diesem Produkt restlos begeistert. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar, besonders im Vergleich zu den extrem teuren gefriergetrockneten Alternativen. Mit etwas Eigeninitiative erhält man hier eine große Menge an hochwertigen, aromatischen Kirschen für unzählige kulinarische Ideen. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Leckere Kirschen
Ich bin allergisch gegen Fruchtsäure und habe versuchsweise mal getrocknete Früchte bestellt um zu testen ob ich diese vertrage. Das tue ich!Ich lege diese manchmal auch einfach in Wasser ein. Dadurch habe ich dann nach einigen Tagen Kirschsaft und eben die mit Wasser vollgesogenen Kirschen was natürlich etwas anderes ist als nur getrocknete Früchte. Diese kann man dann in Kuchen und Joghurt verwenden. Auch in Rum eingelegt sind sie für zahlreiches geeignet.Die Qualität der Kirschen ist in Ordnung. Die Kirschen sind sehr schmackhaft und süß. Es befindet sich auch kein Müll wie Stiele o.ä. darin, nur einige unreife Kirschen die ich dann eben entsorge. Die Anzahl der unreifen Früchte hält sich in Grenzen.Alles in allem kaufe ich die Kirschen nun regelmässig auch wenn sie sehr teuer sind.
