5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Power Station to charge and use from Solar Power
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I only really brought this to charge from solar. It works really well, the app is efficient, connecting to wifi is super easy and it works for checking the amount charged everywhere.Charging speeds are great, I always use all the Usb and Type C outlets at the same time, it works really well.Battery life is good, doesn’t feel like 60k mAh but capacity reduction exists unfortunately. The price couldn’t be better at £109 considering the Anker Prime 27,650 is around £140, for this to be more than double for a cheaper price and similar tech specs this is definitely worth the price. The weight is very heavy, around 2kg. I didn’t expect the weight to be so much for a power station with not much capacity compared to others, however it’s still portable with such a small size.
5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the money
Really good small power bank.
5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect way to run your laptop all day.
With the SOLIX range, I think Anker have hit the jackpot. My Dell laptop is rated at 20V, 65Watts. But the instructions say that using a suitable USB-C PD power bank, the Dell will initially charge at 100W. The SOLIX C200 DC Power Bank Station is the perfect way for running the Dell all day. The three USB-C outlets are rated at 140, 100 and 15 Watts. Run times, with the Dell connected to the 100W output will depend on what charge level the Dell battery was at. When the Dell has been at 10% battery, the SOLIX has recharged the laptop in 2 hours from 9am to 11am, then powered the laptop till around 4pm, when the laptop battery takes over. Easily giving me a full day of use, without a mains power cord in sight. If the laptop starts the day on a full charge, the SOLIX C200 will power the laptop all day, with about 30% battery remaining in the SOLIX by 5pm. This, combined with it's size, weight and carry handle, make the SOLIX C200 perfect for anyone working remotely, either without access to mains power, or who simply does not want to have power cords training about. One slight anomaly though. I occasionally have to work away, using an AirBnB as a base. I have a SOLIX C300 powering things like the travel router and portable printer, and the C200 DC just powering the laptop and the wireless charger phone stand. I tried recharging the C200 (over USB-C) from the C300, and the C300 from the mains. But as soon as the C200 reached 55%, it stopped recharging. So I had to recharge the C200 using a mains charger, plugged in to the C300 mains sockets, which worked fine. So if you need all-day laptop power, the C200 DC is brilliant. I would guess that it might only get a more power hungry laptop, like a Macbook Pro or a gaming laptop from 9am, to perhaps 3 or 4 pm. But that is still impressive, given it's size and portability.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good but No plug supplies and big and heavy.
No plug supplied and takes about 5-6 hours to charge on a 30wat standard, charges devices well but if the charge voltage is too low it won't register the device. Great for indoors or in a car but too big and heavy to take backpacking or camping. Would suit campervan, caravan, boat or car camping.
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant product for a power cut.
I use it with a solar panel from another brand and charges in 30 minutes in full sun. Brilliant product for a power cut.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice product but poor back up service
Portable power station works as expectedBut unfortunately unable to register it's 3 year warranty on line, apparently I've not received it
1.0 out of 5 stars Not happy can't return
First of all you should be aware that if for any reason you decide it's not for you and that you want to return it, then you will be met with a warning that this item isn't eligable for return due to it being a "restricted item" (probably meaning the amount of lithium in it). I really think that customers should be made aware of this first as you might think well if i'm unsatisfied I can return it. But you can't. Second of all the quality on these is not the best. And I believe mine was used. It had dirty marks on it, the screen protector looked as if it had been peeled off already and then stuck back down. So I'm not too happy I think this is one that some influencer got, reviewed and then returned to Anker and Anker were perfectly happy to sell it to me as a new item. After raising this with anker, they more or less treated me like I was a liar and demanded I take photos, videos and offer proof of this before they will accept a return. This is against the distance selling act. You can't demand someone make videos and stuff for you to accept a return. You can return any item, for any reason if it was sold to you without you being physically present. So this has soured my view on Anker especially since this is the second time this has happened to me now.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great
I got this at the reduced 'Black Friday ' price and for that I consider it excellent value. It has a good, useful capacity in a compact form. It'll charge quickly with a 100w laptop charger (USB C only) and has three USB C outlets and two USB A outlets.
Almost perfect.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Using it to power a Starlink mini and it works perfectly.I didn’t realize when ordering that you can connect via Bluetooth to remotely view the screen so you can see how many minutes power it estimates you have left, which is an awesome feature.Very impressed, it’s a shame it doesn’t have a 110vac outlet and you can only charge it via the 140w usb C port kind of sucks, so it’s worth bearing in mind…. If you want to charge via USB, you won’t be able to use the 140w output at the same time.
Just what we were looking for.
Powers the Starlink mini.As set up it was delivering 54 watts into the unit as the Starlink mini was drawing 22 to 25 watts. The surplus of energy was enough to keep the little power bank 100% all day. It is amazing to be able to have full internet and mobile service in "off grid" locations. I guess there are no more locations that are off the grid. The overall quality is fantastic and the fold up solar panel really works exactly as we had hoped. Keep in mind we are using it in AZ in June...... but, its literally a fountain of usable practical energy. Without the panels I believe it will power the Starlink for about 5 or 6 hours, but I have not fully drained it down yet. For truck camping or emergency use it is a priceless item. We also have a Jackery 1000 with 2 folding 100 watt panels and this little unit is a nice small option that all fits in a case that's smaller than the Jackery. Think about that, a solar panel, one power bank, all applicable power cords, a little tripod and a Starlink panel all in a hard case, sold separately, smaller and lighter than just the Jackery 1000 power bank.Add to that the fact that it can power a satellite dish and charge your phones, laptops, iPad, GPS, drone, whatever you have and its an impressive little package.
Worth every penny
I used this unit over a week long camping trip. I didn’t have access to power to charge the unit and was planning for the use of the solar panel with it. My needs were fairly small, phone, watch, flashlights, and a decent sized lantern. I also charged a Nintendo Switch and an iPad and only used the solar panels for one day to give a partial boost and finish the week with 5% left. It definitely did more than I needed. Solar panels are good but do take a long time and some management when you are looking for sunlight amongst trees. That wasn’t an issue with the unit though. I’d definitely recommend it if you don’t have too serious of a need otherwise I’d recommend jumping up to a larger unit. Portable, nice quality, weight - might not be the lightest but it’s evident in its holding power longer than a short time. I used all of the ports.
Being a nomad sounds so cool, just working from anywhere.
It This works great, especially depending on the project and tasks. It's a solid option if you prefer not being tied to an office. It's perfect for anyone who enjoys working remotely or is a digital nomad. I'd recommend giving it a try if that's your style. You'll probably find it pretty useful.
It powers my Starlink Mini
After doing much research looking for a power pack to power my Starlink Mini, I decided to buy this unit. It works well powering my Starlink Mini for up to ten hours while tent camping. Also, it charges my cellphone quickly with its power delivery ports. It charges from my car's PD USB ports from 10% to 100% in just over three hours. I noticed it charges via USB from my car at 55 watts. I have tried using the solar input (12 volt car outlet to XT60) but it over powers the cars 12 volt outlet. So the Solar input is strictly for Solar.Other than that, for the power it packs it's lite weight and feels sturdy. Although it was a little more money than I intended spending, it's a good buy.
