It's got a thick, almost creamy texture but no flavour or smell at all really - definitely no traces of coconut. Thicker than olive oil, so it's great in dressings and sauces.I've been losing weight since starting using it but obviously I'm also dieting and exercising so it's hard to say how much this contributes to that, but I feel it is effective at staving off the feeling of hunger and fatigue I usually get while dieting!Really like the look of the bottle too

This is a large 500ml bottle of MCT oil that is great for salad dressing but not for cooking. You can also use it in drinks and as a supplement for weight management and to increase energy.The bottle has a decent shelf life (mine ordered in Jan ‘25 is good until the end of the year) but I doubt I will be able to use the whole 500ml when I can’t cook with it too.

This is a solid choice, I've been using coconut oil for a while but I needed something without the odour and flavour, and this is great. Pure MCT oil, easy to add to smoothies, coffee and salad. I love adding it to salad alongside GoodPhats olive oil, it reduces the greasy aftertaste and the consistency works well with olive oil.MCT oil always gives me better energy throughout the day, I feel fuller also when I take it with meals. Helps with my current weight loss plan. Comes in very sturdy packaging and the bottle is like ceramic or something, but it's not transparent at all so no oxidisation from light exposure.Overall, a great, high quality and thoughtful MCT oil, coconut derived and clean.

The Good Phats Organic C8 MCT Oil is not for cooking with so I have been mainly drizzling it over salads. Unlike standard coconut oil, it has a smooth, neutral taste with no overpowering coconut flavour, making it incredibly versatile and also much better for me personally as I don't like the taste of coconut oil. It also blends well into drinks without leaving a greasy aftertaste or an oily slick on the surface. The bottle itself is well-designed - it is made of sturdy, opaque black glass to protect the oil from light, ensuring freshness. It also features a tamperproof seal and a drip-resistant pourer, making it easy to use without mess. The packaging is particularly impressive, with an eco-friendly box that keeps the bottle well-protected during transit.

I’ve started substituting this oil for olive oil in dressings etc. where I’m not cooking with it and where the olive oil flavour isn’t needed. So far I’m fairly pleased; it does seem to be completely flavourless and makes a slightly thicker dressing than olive oil. It does however leave a greasier mouth after feel, which I wasn’t keen on so I have deducted one star as I’m not sure yet if I’ll continue using it in dressings for this reason. If you’re adding it to coffee etc. as part of a health routine I suspect it would be fine as there would be a much smaller ratio of the oil to other liquid.It comes in a very nice glass bottle which looks great on a shelf if your kitchen aesthetics are important.

Having been following a keto lifestyle for 2 years, I have used MCT before, but in powdered form in coffee in place of coffee whitener, which contains some sugars.This oil is really good quality and the bottle looks and feels high end.I add a small amount to coffee. It does contribute some creaminess, but of course doesn't emulsify as an MCT oil powder will, so I do find I need a little coffee whitener to further reduce the black coffee flavour - however, it does still give me my MCT boost while reducing my carb intake by minimising the amount of whitener I'm consuming per day.

The branding of this product is undeniably cool and it looks great on your kitchen worktop. It's a pleasure to unbox and look at! I've been looking into the potential benefits and downsides of MCT oil and I think the former outweighs the latter so I'm willing it give it a go in the form of bulletproof coffee. This stuff is perfect for that as the taste is very subtle and so doesn't really affect the coffee taste.My only complaint would be the price - I suspect you may be paying a premium for the cool branding as similar, more plainly packaged products are available for quite a bit less money.
