About this item:
Seven Seas Trying for a Baby is a prenatal food supplement designed for women who are trying to conceive. It contains an advanced* form of Folic Acid to help increase folate levels before conception¹ and support the healthy development of your baby in early pregnancy¹, Zinc to support your fertility,² Iron, Vitamins D & B12, and other expertly selected vitamins and minerals. Seven Seas Trying for a Baby provides an adequate intake of 400 μg of folate, provided by Folic Acid and L-methylfolate, in line with the recommended amount by the UK Department of Health when trying for a baby. Pack contains 28 tablets (4 weeks' supply). Take 1 tablet daily with water during a meal. Gluten-free, lactose-free, no GMOs. Food supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. *Compared to Folic Acid, L-methylfolate is a form of folate which is ready to be used directly by your body. ¹Supplemental folic acid intake increases the maternal folate status. A low maternal folate level is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. For women of child-bearing age beneficial effect is obtained with a supplemental folic acid daily intake of 400μg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Development of neural tube defects have several risk factors. Altering a single factor may or may not have a beneficial effect. ²Zinc supports normal fertility and reproduction. ³Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, also has a role in the process of cell division. ⁴Magnesium and Iron contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. ⁵Vitamin D and Iron support the normal function of the immune system. ⁶Selenium contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

5.0 out of 5 stars Did what they were meant to
I started taking these after 11 months of trying for a baby, and the first full month I was on them I got pregnant. This may have been a fluke but at 42 I was wondering if I had missed the boat. Whether it's these or another brand, I would say its definitely work taking supplements if you're trying. Tablets are a little big, but I am pathetic when it comes to swallowing pills.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good
I conceived one month after taking these. Maybe a coincidence maybe not.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!
Easy to swallow, and have more then everything you need with TTC. No adverse side effects.Hope these bring me some good luck and baby dust too!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Think this helped me conceive!
I've been using seven seas trying for a baby since the start of January along side vita west vital DHA & EPA capsules ( which I'm still using) and Coq10 capsules and conceived after 7 months of trying! Could just be a coincidence but am certain all of these vitamins have helped me conceive. I'm now nearly 7 weeks. Hoping this review helps someone 🙏 x
1.0 out of 5 stars Item arrived damaged but not eligible for return
This item arrived with tablets loose in the packet and several blister pouches open, this is not fit for consumption, but when I tried to start a return, it would not allow a return as it is not eligible for a return.
3.0 out of 5 stars Seven seas babies
Very neutral on these. I was recommended them by a few different people but they really aren’t great for myself - I did try them for a 3 month window. Although they were ok to swallow, had no taste and continued the recommended vitamins for conception I found that they impacted my cycle, I either didn’t have a cycle for a month or it was extremely late and it did not regulate over the 3 month period therefore, I wouldn’t personally take these again.
4.0 out of 5 stars Unfortunately much bigger
I have been taking these tablets for around 7 years now as they had most vitamins I wanted in a very small compact shape for a decent price. Unfortunately the new version, while maybe offering a few more vitamins or so (didn't compare in detail) are way bigger, although not as massive than other supplements out there. Unfortunately the small size was the main reason I kept taking these so disappointed in the update. I assume quality will be as before.
