The ventilation is brilliant and they kept me lovely and cool 😎 great for riders like me that value the importance of decent gear, even in the blistering sunshine and will not compromise on safety.Well made. Very comfy. A bit looser around the leg and groin than my Oxford but I preferred them slightly baggier in the heat and the protection still stays in place.They can definitely be a unisex garment as I am, afterall, a big girl and I did buy a second pair for the other half as we were so impressed and the price is amazing.Dont be put off by the value price as the quality is not compromised and they are not a "cheap"product .....Highly recommended 👌

I have been looking for a pair of protective trousers with knee and hip armour that I could wear on longer rides on a maxi-scooter. Ideally I wanted a pair I could wear in the warmer months, offering full protection without being too heavy and causing overheating. I've tried several pairs of motorcycle jeans but have not found any that fit comfortably on and off the bike and all have been too hot. I decided to give these a try as overtrousers on top of lightweight summer trousers that I'd wear around town or on days out and country walks. I'm short, 5ft 6in, and normally take a 34 waist (although I seem to have put on a bit of weight recently, so 34 is only just wearable!) and so I ordered a size 40 waist/32 leg. I was a little worried that I'd erred on the large size at the waist and I'd have to return them for a 38, all else being OK. They arrived today (a couple of days late, more about that in a moment) and first impressions are very good. With the armour adjusted and the thermal/waterproof liner removed the fit over normal trousers is ideal. There is plenty of mesh fabric so airflow should be good. First impressions on walking around indoors are very good; both fit and comfort in 24 degrees C are excellent. I can't wait to try them out on the bike. I will have the perfect conditions in the next few days as the current heatwave is due to peak with temperatures reaching the low 30's C. I will post an update when I have road-tested them. They appear well made in decent fabric and good design. I can cinch the waist to wear with or without a belt on the trousers worn underneath and with or without a t-shirt tucked in. The armour provided is of very basic quality (but I will replace it with my D30) and it can be adjusted to sit perfectly over my knees. The hip armour is problematic and I can't work out how it is supposed to protect the hips placed as it is, but that is no different on all the jeans I have tried. Maybe I'm just built funny?! Once I have worn them properly I will probably adjust the hem velcro and that on the armour pockets for a custom fit, but even 'as supplied' it is pretty good. Only minor criticism is with the zips which are a bit stiff and prone to 'catch', but it's not a big deal and they may wear-in. I really can't fault them at the moment and they are very reasonably priced. Delivery was a problem as no tracking details were provided and the delivery dates were given as "8 to 12 July ". They were dispatched on 2nd July, so that was OK but they didn't arrive until today, the 14th, at aound 2:30 pm. It was pure luck that I was in. Over the 8th to 12th period I had organised things so that I would be at home. But,as I said,they didn't turn up then and there was no notification of the delivery today, so it was pure chance that I was at home when the courier (DHL) came. There was no charge for delivery, but given the very reasonable price of the overtrousers, I'd have happily paid for it if given the option of a guaranteed delivery slot (as usually provided by Bolo).

I bought these for their adverted waterproof abilities. Sadly after a few damp rides these are not waterproof. Only the padded liner is waterproof. So when it rains while it’s warm, I will need to pull over, take off my pants, insert the liner and put my pants back on to then have hot and sweaty legs. But no rain will get in

passt perfekt am bauch nach unten etwas zu lang ,wird gekürzt und umgenäht dann passt alles. soweit bin ich sehr zufrieden .steppeinsatz ist sau warm kann man aber rausnehmen es sitzt alles super danke
