It’s possible to shorten it by omitting one of the middle sections, if it’s too long. The bristles are a good midway stiffness for garden duties and nice to have a secondary hand grip.     This brush is very strong, the brush head itself is extra long and the handle(self assembly) is really tall but you can take out the middle pole to shorten it.Overall a strong brush but mainly suited for outdoors.
